This is Darby O kingpen Marrow with your Outlaws movie review. Today we're reviewing Disclosure Day, the Steven Spielberg blockbuster that arrives in theaters on June twelfth. The premise is quote, if you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed it to you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? Essentially, the movie challenges viewers to wrestle with the social, cultural, political, and faith dynamics that could come from indisputable proof that aliens exist. I found the movie's premise to be interesting, although it was a little long for my taste and took a while to ramp up. The question of whether belief in God and other life forms can coexist also seemed a little overdone to me. As Eve Heuston, who played the character Jane, examined in her conversation with a beloved nun, God created humans as the highest beings on Earth. There's no reason that belief in God cannot coexist with the idea that he may have created other beings elsewhere in this vast universe that he also created overall. If you're interested in the topic and of exploring what life on Earth could look like, if we knew for sure that we were not alone. Go see disclosure days starting June twelfth.
