[00:04:53] That we're going to talk about today For people who may not be familiar with this show We're going to give you a crash course In what the experience that you're going to have Now Sometimes we have a bit of a reputation We are known in some circles As one of the city's most dangerous shows And it's

[00:05:23] We don't go out looking for stuff Stuff just happens We've had times where we have interviews Because we have a lot of interviews We don't have one today But we have a lot of interviews On the show And sometimes people come on this show And they make news By certain things that they say And it goes viral And all kinds of news reports Off of it And all that kind of stuff That has happened to us Multiple times On a national level

[00:05:51] As well as on a local level And on an international level That Ms. O'Malley is very aware of And we'll talk about that briefly In a second And then there are times Where some of the things that we say May be a little controversial It's always true It's always real We care very much About being accurate

[00:06:20] We It means a lot to us That we can back up Everything we say So we're not one of these people That just They're just flippant With the things that we say We don't just throw stuff out there But We're strong in our opinions And strong in the things that we believe in And you know sometimes That can ruffle a feather or two Only thing I can guarantee you Is that it's always going to be entertaining That's what I can guarantee There are times where

[00:06:50] One of us in particular Dante Will say some things That will make us all a little nervous Because it's like Oh boy He went there So you're going to have a A good experience You're going to be entertained You're going to learn something for sure And you're going to be exposed to Information And guests

[00:07:17] That you may be aware of Or may not have been aware of before So those are some of the things That you can look forward to Listening to the Outlaws radio show Now to go back to what I said earlier About the time that We went international That was all because of Robin Robin Why don't you recap For our current listeners

[00:07:47] And our new listeners The story that went around the world Ah yes The good old Daily Mail We went pretty worldwide And didn't even know it It was accidental when we found this out actually So it was just a little Okay You know I took my daughter To get checked for a cat bite

[00:08:14] And a lot of people didn't like the story Because Of How I handled it And By you know she was asked questions Of things And you can find those articles You know just Google my name You know You know he is You can Google my name And find those articles But basically they asked you know my child

[00:08:42] At the time I don't know if she was 10 I think Yeah And they just asked her questions that they should not have asked her You know such as is she Doing adult activities Or Doing drugs Or smoking They asked me to leave the room Before asking these questions And I didn't know that they were going there So that's why it went worldwide A lot of people came for my neck

[00:09:12] I mean yes You know whatever Whatever It went super viral Like it was First of all the clip Itself Got over a hundred thousand Last I checked It was like over a hundred thousand views That's number one Number two It went news Like news outlets started covering it Then it hit the Daily Mail In the UK It hit

[00:09:42] I forget the name of the outlet But it hit it in In Australia So it was like three four different articles From many different places I don't even remember all where it was It was like What was it like Canada Or something Where all was it It was the UK It was Australia I believe Canada too It was everywhere man It was everywhere

[00:10:11] And the funny part is I actually Googled my own name Off of like based off of like one of those Facebook things that you share on your story And it's like search up your name and see what pops up type of thing Yeah Or I seen a thing on my story from Facebook And so I go Google my name to see what pops up if I search my name So I contact Darvio and I'm like I know this was you And he was like no that wasn't me That wasn't me this time

[00:10:41] I usually got things up my sleeve But that wasn't me this time Yeah no like I didn't know And I knew the clip had went viral Cause it is as of right now I'm looking at it right now Over 138,000 views On that On that clip Cause I put a clip out of her telling the story on the show And the clip did what it did And from there People started reporting

[00:11:12] On it And so that that was crazy That was insane So you know We didn't find out for like weeks Yes it was weeks later As a matter of fact Me and you had went to a bar And that was the day we went to a bar Was the day we found out And we was just going to you know Just catch up And toss back a couple And you was like

[00:11:41] Hey did you do this? And I was like No No that wasn't me Cause Darvio is known for doing things like that I just want to put that out there He's known for doing things like that He's just like He's full of surprises okay So I expected that it was him But it was not him this time No the clip The clip was me But the reporting was not me

[00:12:12] So we've had We've had all kinds of interactions All kinds of stuff that we've gotten into Uh Dante what's one of your Memories from the show Since you've been on the show that the That the new audience Should be aware of Oh man we got so many Um If I had to give you like my favorite It would be Probably Cavs Media Days

[00:12:43] Um Just talking to some of those guys I know that's a sore spot for our city right now But Those are Those are probably my favorite memories Our most memorable though Oh Probably when Frank Jack Mayor Frank Jackson Former Mayor Frank Jackson came on the show And called Certain members of the community who liked to griff On

[00:13:11] Tragic events that happened when he came on the show And called them tragedy pimps That was huge Um Yeah Yeah That had memorable interviews I mean we've had We've had some Some very interesting guests We've had Some newly Elected Newly twice elected We've had And I know People have strong opinions about this administration I'm sure we all do

[00:13:41] Um One way or the other But I mean I think it was pretty cool Like we We had At the time he was just J.D. Vance And he was running for Senate And then he became Senator Vance And now he's Vice President Vance So you know that was Very interesting We've had Vivek Ramaswamy on He's running for governor now We'll talk about that later Um We've had quite a few Candidates from both sides of the aisle

[00:14:10] On our show So I mean it's been a lot But I would make my favorite That are like personal I would probably say Cavs Media Days If you've listened to the show at all before You know that You know that's my lane I am Afflicted with being a sports junkie That's how I'd describe it Um Yeah that is You know some people like to wake up and You know watch soap opera

[00:14:39] I am afflicted with being a sports junkie So Cavs Media Days have been very special to me But I would say our biggest moment At least for me in my eyes Um When Mayor Frank Jackson came on the show And just you know he kind of laid into people Right like This was during the time when You know you had a lot of Um Police violence And you had some people who are trying to Fix the issue

[00:15:09] And other people who are essentially grifting off the issue And you know the former mayor in this city came on And was basically just like You know you guys are tragedy pimps And you don't help the situation But that was one time where we went viral And made people very uncomfortable And it wasn't my fault Um Yeah I mean we I mean shoot we've had uh You know we had then at the time He was candidate for mayor Mayor Bibb now

[00:15:39] Yeah He's a you know he's about to lose the Browns Congratulations Mayor So You know like I mean we've had a lot of interesting people on Uh I don't think he would come back on Again He wouldn't come back on And it's not my fault because Uh this was very early In his tenure when the police were leaving And then there was a snow issue

[00:16:07] And I full disclosure am not a resident of Cleveland Um I live in a different county now Um so the person who lived in Cleveland You were still in the county at the time I was but I didn't I didn't make the mayor uncomfortable Uh at this point Someone else on the show did Darby O Um and I think that's why he won't come on So now that he won't come on I can be sarcastic and say Congratulations Mr. Mayor on losing the Browns Um

[00:16:38] That's Doing a bang up job there Um so yeah I think those are some of our I think Our most memorable Shout out to Mayor Frank Jackson Yeah Just absolutely Taking a flamethrower to certain people's Uh agenda Yes he did he did And that that definitely went viral That got covered I don't know how many times People got mad They did a press conference

[00:17:05] Against his words on this show It was crazy but I will say this There was another moment and then we'll We'll go to break and jump into tea time And I'll explain what that is in a second Um there was a time and this was recently And this is another reason why Why the mayor may not be happy with this show Um when the whole Philip McHugh thing happened Oh and Cleveland Councilman Richard Starr

[00:17:35] Came on the show we talked about it He was opposed to Philip McHugh's hiring In full disclosure we were opposed to Philip McHugh's hiring Um talked about it Comments that the councilman made went viral And um got some coverage And it was part of it wasn't the thing that started the shakeup

[00:18:00] But it was part of the shakeup that eventually led to Mr. McHugh deciding to leave that position Um so and that gives you another Example of our heart as well Like we we care about Cleveland We care about the community We care about the people We care about regular folks We care about the folks who come from where we come from

[00:18:29] And we speak up when there are issues When there are things where we feel like the people Are not being treated properly We are going to speak up about it And sometimes people don't like that And that's okay But the ones who do like it The ones who do appreciate it Are the ones who rock with us And so like Dante said from a political standpoint We've had all kinds of people We've had Democrats We've had Republicans We've had a host of people Come on this show

[00:18:57] We've had athletes We've had celebrities We've had actors We've had all kinds of folks And we're going to We're going to continue to do that Because what I like to do And what we like to do Is use the access that we've been blessed to have And bring that to you Bring that to the people Because a lot of times There are rooms Where decisions are being made

[00:19:27] That the average person Doesn't get access to Even though those decisions Are going to impact the average person's lives So we feel like it's very important For us to bring you all in the room And use our access to do that And also people know That if you screw with the public If you're doing things that are unfair and unjust You're probably going to hear from us

[00:19:57] So that is something else That has been beneficial For the community As far as this show is concerned But it's not all the stuff we talk about We do lighten it up sometimes And I don't know if it's going to be light this week But T-Time with Roe is coming up And what T-Time with Roe is Is our entertainment news and celebrity segment That is ran by Miss O'Malley So stay tuned We're going to get to that in just a little bit

[00:20:26] You're listening to The Outlaws Yo, what's up? Bring the noise right here Chuck D. Public Enemy number one You are tuning in to Outlaws Radio Show Real conversations We got the heat Give me the real This is the Outlaws Radio Show

[00:20:55] Welcome back, welcome back You're listening to The Outlaws And now is the time of the show That we like to call T-Time with Roe Turn it up The latest celebrity news and gossip It's T-Time with Roe on the Outlaws Radio Show Welcome back to T-Time It has been some time It has been weeks we have not been on here

[00:21:22] But listen, there's been a lot going on Like so much to even cover I promise you it's been so much I'm like my goodness What do I even talk about But there is something really big in the headlines right now And if you don't know about this story You are under a rock So, if you know who Diddy is Which is Sean Diddy Combs Okay, and I've talked about this on the radio show

[00:21:53] Before, maybe once or twice There was a situation with him And so he's got a lot He used to date who, Ventura She is an R&B singer So, today was actually the trial of Diddy And it just wrapped up today For the second, this is the second week And I think there's going to be It's supposed to be like a total of eight weeks If I'm not mistaking I think so And it's already

[00:22:21] Yeah, it's already gotten hot Like, it's crazy A lot of the things that's come out Is wild I've seen videos Or I've seen clips and stuff Where it was like his twin girls They're teenagers They like my kids My kids age And they went to a couple of those court hearings And they had to hear a lot of the things Like the alleged things that people were Were stating about their father And I just, first and foremost They shouldn't have been there

[00:22:49] But that's for another day But, as of yesterday It was the second week of this trial There is a total of eight weeks altogether Kid Cudi was on the stand to testify Along with, I think a few others But Kid Cudi He was talking about He was in a relationship with Cassie Ventura As well at one point

[00:23:18] After she had dated P. Diddy But, so while he was dating Cassie From what I'm hearing The alleged of all I can't say whether it was real or not real I'm just stating what was being said So, a lot of the federal prosecutors Were saying like for decades That Combs abused, threatened, coerced Blah, blah, blah, all this to different women And a lot of people are saying That's one of the things that he did to Cassie

[00:23:48] Or at least that's what they're saying In the courtrooms, allegedly So, when Kid Cudi got onto the stand He was waiting that You know, he dated her back in 2011 And that was like right after she split up from P. Diddy So, right after they split up Yeah, the first time, yeah So, after P. Diddy had found out About it or whatever He went looking for him

[00:24:17] He broke into his home And then Because he decided What Kid Cudi said is that he decided to To ignore P. Diddy And not respond to any text messages Or him breaking into his home Like he ripped Allegedly ripped open gifts Like there was things missing The dog was locked up in one of the rooms Like all kinds It's crazy But after that Because he wouldn't pay him no attention

[00:24:45] Diddy was like, okay, bet Basically And he turned around And he allegedly set Kid Cudi's Porsche on fire And Sometime later Some years later Allegedly P. Diddy You know, he stated that P. Diddy Apologized to him And he was like, whoa, I cannot believe What I'm hearing right now Like he actually apologized to him And they both At one point

[00:25:15] Come to an agreement That they said that Cassie Ventura Played them both Wow It sounds like this girl's A little messy It sounds like she a little messy I mean, there's a lot of different things And details that's in this story Like that's been stated Things that she was allowing being done to her Stating like She was sleeping with Paying to sleep with Strippers or something of the sort While P. Diddy watched

[00:25:46] That's when the girl His daughters were in the room When they heard that part There's just so many different stories about this But one thing that it's You know, this whole story boils down to Seems like it's mostly talking about abuse And things in that nature But not of what his charges are I hate these cases Because it's always like Damned if you do, damned if you don't

[00:26:15] You know, no matter how you see the issue You know, there's You're gonna have some backlash One way or the other And for me The question isn't Is Diddy a good person? I think it's obvious that he's not Um, the question isn't Is Diddy a abuser? We saw him do that We all know that he is Right? He beat the crap out of her

[00:26:44] On and we saw it on video So is he an abuser? Absolutely The question is to your point, Robin And Dante, I'm gonna come to you after this The question is Did he do what they are accusing him of doing? When you accuse someone When you indict someone under a RICO statute That's a very specific charge And Dante's gonna talk about that a little bit

[00:27:14] In a second Um, my concern Is if you are someone Who wants Diddy to face justice I don't know if you're gonna get it In this case Because from everything that I've seen so far And I've been following the case fairly regularly I think it's at least a 50-50 chance That he beats these charges

[00:27:44] And his defense attorneys have been very Effective In making the argument That What you saw on the video Is domestic violence That is a crime And he is not charged for that crime He is charged for these other things And that is where I think The problem lies If you charge him with domestic violence Open and shut case That's done Over with

[00:28:13] We all know he did that But what He's being charged with I don't know, man I don't know I don't know if they can prove it Dante, break down real quick Briefly For people who aren't familiar with What a RICO case is And then give your thoughts On the direction of the case Yeah, so And I'm not a lawyer And I don't play one on television

[00:28:42] So, please forgive me if I'm wrong But usually Or actually a RICO case is usually For criminal enterprises, right? And it is a way to combat a criminal conspiracy, right? So I believe it's what Racketeering It's a way to be able to charge Everyone involved with

[00:29:11] Involved in a criminal enterprise As one And so This became a big thing with the mafia Because a long time ago With the mafia You were only getting low-level offenders And the bosses and the real power players Were able to stay out And crime never You know, there was never a way to take a bite out of the crime And so what this did was

[00:29:40] This gave the government an opportunity to say Okay, well, if I can prove that you guys are connected Then I can charge all of you guys as one And so that's their The way this was presented was that Diddy's businesses Are just fronts for criminal activity And one of those criminal activities Would have been sex trafficking

[00:30:08] And so I believe that's One of the One of the predicates So the thing that Confuses me the most Is how is he basically a sole defendant? I'm not sure Because again, I'm not a lawyer But I, you know In how many high-profile cases Have you ever seen a Rico Where there's no co-defendants It's just one guy

[00:30:38] So to me that Just makes me think like I don't really know how strong the case is against him And obviously That's not a defensive Diddy I mean, obviously He seems to be a degenerate With a lot of money Probably a very solicitous individual Not a good person Like you said, Darvio But is he Is he running a criminal conspiracy? I don't know

[00:31:08] And I haven't followed the cases Closely to know Like I haven't been Unfortunately, there are no cameras Which is unfortunate Right? I feel like a trial this big And of this Like, level of interest Should be open to the public In terms of just like cameras I mean, OJ was Maybe this isn't as big as OJ But I feel like, you know We should have some level of transparency

[00:31:37] And it's open to the media But it should be at least live stream NPR should have a Should be able to get a stream up But So I don't know if he's gonna walk I mean, it From everything we hear And maybe this Again, we don't know what's all happening Inside the court But It just seems to be a Slow trickle out of information about You know, these freak offs And his degenerate sexual behavior

[00:32:07] And you know, does he like men? Does he like women? You know, what kind of nasty stuff Was Cassie doing to all these men? You know, stuff like that But I'm not really hearing stuff about Like, this Business was a front So that they could do X, Y, and Z Or that business was a front So that he could traffic women And hide money Because that's usually the type of conversation You're having when you're talking about a Rico So I don't know

[00:32:39] Where this is going But you know, it seems to just be like a Constant flow of You know, degenerate behavior coming out Which in and of itself is like Is that actually criminal? If these are willing participants Like they brought out the people They brought out the people You know, apparently some of these people That participated in the freak offs And it's like, well, I mean If these people are being paid Are you... I don't know, right? I don't know

[00:33:07] I think Cassie is very clearly a victim here But I also Think there's a level of opportunity I don't even want to say that But I mean, I just think that we're in This case is really interesting Because I don't really know where this is going And it doesn't seem like we're hearing about Criminal behavior right now, at least Yeah, that's the concern, I think We know that he engaged in criminal behavior

[00:33:36] We saw that on video But the criminal behavior Right That we know he engaged in Is not the criminal behavior that he's being charged with Correct But there are... there were topics, though There were topics, though, that I was reading About where he... Allegedly, I'll say that Where he... He and others were like Drugging Women, not just women, but young women Young girls, teen girls

[00:34:07] These freak offs or, you know Things of the sort Where they... these girls would be Counted as Party favors They'd be drugged And... Allegedly, they are being Trafficked and moved around And... Things of the sort At least this is what I've read So, obviously, I don't know all I don't know any of it So, this is, again, allegedly Yeah

[00:34:46] But... It's a... It's a way to... It's a...

[00:34:50] It's a...

[00:35:16] unless we're just saying he's the head of this all we're just we're after him only but usually and i don't know darby you maybe you know more than i haven't heard of that and again i'm not a lawyer so well i think i think the issue and like to to robin's point with robin and we got a couple minutes here and then we'll wrap up but to to what robin was saying like i've heard all those things

[00:35:41] too but i haven't heard many of those particular stories that she referenced come up in the trial and maybe they have and i just missed it but there is a or they just refuse to bring it up well if they refuse to bring it up that means they can't prove it because if you're the prosecution and you have those arguments you have those case you're going to bring it up if you think you can

[00:36:09] prove it and so and that that goes to the point that i was getting ready to make we live we live in this social media everything i say is right because i said it world that when you go into a court of law you see that things are very different like you can't just throw stuff out like you gotta be able to prove what you say what you're alleging and this is where the issue comes in because the case

[00:36:38] the the charges as dante uh referred to the charges that we're hearing and the behavior that is being displayed in court they don't match the charges so far now this is supposed to be a long trial so things could change they could sometimes the prosecution waits a little bit and then drop a bomb

[00:37:05] on you in the middle of the case that could happen so things could change more evidence could come out to show that he was a trafficker using his business because the rico the the rico case that they indicted him under is basically them saying that he was using his company as a criminal enterprise that's a very

[00:37:30] specific charge that's not saying that he's a deviant that's not saying that he's a freak that's not saying that he's an abuser that he's a domestic violence abuser that's not saying that he's in love with baby oil that's not saying any of that that is saying he used his company as a criminal enterprise

[00:37:54] and the concern that i have and the concern that anybody who wants to see justice happen including for the victims because we know like dante said cassie was a victim we saw we saw what he did and you know that probably wasn't the first time right so we know that but if you're someone who cares about justice if this is a situation and i don't know we'll see what what the outcome of the trial is

[00:38:21] but if he gets off on this pause if he beats this case definitely pause because he gets off on a lot it seems had to put a pause there because of who we're talking about but if he beats this case number one justice isn't served because he wasn't charged with the things we know he did

[00:38:43] but also it's another when when prosecutors overcharge that allows sometimes in some cases that allows guilty people to go free because the issue is not about when you're in a court of law and you got to be under oath and the jury has to make a decision beyond reasonable doubt

[00:39:09] you have to be able to prove everything you're saying and if you overcharge anybody all the speculation in the world doesn't matter what matters is what you can prove and if you can't prove it he gonna walk whether he's guilty or not and that's not justice and so that's the thing that

[00:39:34] i'm concerned about there is no question like like dante said there is no question that he's a degenerate he's clearly a degenerate there is no question that he's an abuser there is no question that he is a jealous angry not good man we know those of you who've listened to this show uh for a long period of

[00:39:59] time you heard our interview with greg kating who was the detective who uh cracked the the tupac and biggie case we know that puffy was behind tupac's murder y'all can hear that too go ahead and check that episode out right allegedly so we we know so it ain't no question about whether he's a good guy or not he's definitely not a good guy but if you're gonna bring someone up on federal charges you better

[00:40:27] be sure that you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt what you're accusing him of and if you can't then a guilty person is going to walk away free and that's all i got to say about that robin do you have anything else or are you good um i'll just throw out there real quick at the end uh it's really nothing we can really talk about more so but i do want to say i think the reason that they didn't go

[00:40:53] into the whole domestic violence case um is because um at one point the whole reason this whole thing started is because cassie opened the case up um and she took a payout and so that's why they kind of i think why they avoided that altogether yeah well and that but also to dante's point using her as your star witness with that with that information being public knowledge that could hurt you too

[00:41:23] so yeah it's just i don't know we'll see maybe the prosecutors are right maybe they're maybe they're right but if you're somebody that wants did he to to go to jail for the things that he's done i wouldn't be too confident in the case that they presented right now but again like robin said it's a long it's supposed to be like eight weeks or so this is going to be a long trial this ain't gonna be

[00:41:44] over no time soon so we'll see all right next up we have dante's hot takes and let me explain what that is before we go to that uh this is where dante rants about anything anything and everything whatever's on his mind uh be it a political topic a sports topic a economic topic whatever it is

[00:42:10] dante's gonna give his opinion and it's probably going to have some heat attached to it that is why it is the hot take segment all right stay tuned we're gonna get to that in just a little bit you're

[00:42:22] listening to the outlaws welcome back welcome back you're listening to the outlaws make sure that you subscribe to the show on apple podcast spotify iheart or wherever you get your podcast

[00:42:51] and if you are listening to the show when you subscribe to it if you're listening to the show on apple please make sure you leave us a five-star review and a comment it's very important for the algorithm and for those of you that have already done so thank you oh so very much and now is the time of the show that we like to call dante's hot takes telling the truth whether you like it or not

[00:43:15] it's dante's hot takes on the outlaws radio show all right so with the current administration um there were a lot of ways that we could go to come back like i thought about maybe we kick this off with a bang right the trump administration just um put forth in action against harvard university

[00:43:39] students um you know we could have went that way we could have went a number of different ways here but i wanted to do something that's that's a little bit closer to home because it's actually very concerning so we mentioned vivek ramaswamy on the show um coming on the show before and after his little stint with the doge team he announced that he was going to be running for governor um since

[00:44:09] governor dewine is um termed out so the governor race is next year um in the 2026 november we vote so vivek announced pretty early and the gop ohio gop has already endorsed him now i want to put this out there just to get ahead of this but political parties are

[00:44:38] technically private entities right they can and they can operate however they want to right they're not under any sort of law that they have to do um a primary they don't have to hold one they don't have their only laws with how they can handle money right so if they want to pick a candidate without letting people vote in a primary they are well within their rights to do that if they want to rig a

[00:45:04] primary technically they can do that as well um but i don't believe that that's what's best for the people in our state i think that primaries are beneficial not only to the people because people get to decide which candidate they want to represent them in a general election but i think it's also

[00:45:28] beneficial beneficial for a candidate because you get to develop and you get to withstand attacks and you get to thwart attacks and you get to strategize and campaign um i think it's also good for the party um usually there is some apathy towards a political party when there is seen to be some sort of

[00:45:58] um underhandedness with a primary so i generally believe that primaries are beneficial for everyone involved and right now vivek ramaswamy would be unopposed as the gop nominee for next year's gubernatorial race now there has been talk um of former ohio state football coach and youngstown state football coach

[00:46:24] and athletic director and president jim trestle maybe now that he is the lieutenant governor there has been talk that maybe he would run he has stated that even though the ohio gop has endorsed vivek he believes that the people should decide who rep represents um the gop in a statewide race and

[00:46:52] again i agree with with jim trestle now i am putting my bias aside if you listen before you know i'm a buckeye alum so i am putting my bias aside on this just to agree with the fact that this would be bad for the state in large part because the gop nominee is going to be a heavy

[00:47:16] favorite next next november um this is a state that has been won in pretty substantial fashion by president trump the last three presidential elections we have had a republican governor for what is it now the last four terms um at least the last four terms i know going back to casick

[00:47:41] and none of the races have been particularly close we have um a super majority in the gop in our legislature so the gop nominee is going to i would feel very comfortable there is a candidate we've you know which we've talked about maybe sherrick brown gets in that would be interesting but the other

[00:48:04] candidates that the democrats would would put forth there is a very strong likelihood that whoever the gop nominee is is going to be the next governor of this state so a primary a gop primary wouldn't possibly be the best way for us to get the best candidate that we would want so

[00:48:27] i am wholeheartedly against um the gop's nomination this early without a primary um because it's almost like stacking the deck and that that that isn't very democratic and again going back to last year right we saw this in some of the apathy that democrats had towards the dnc when they felt that

[00:48:53] the dnc primary was rigged and maybe joe biden shouldn't have been the nominee and that was a incumbent president vivek ramaswamy has never held political office here or anywhere so this stinks in my opinion it reeks um he was endorsed by president trump which does hold a lot of

[00:49:19] weight in the state but this isn't something that i'm looking forward to and i'm actually looking forward to and hoping that jim trestle does um hop in this race because i think it's good for everyone involved yeah i'm i wasn't a fan of of what they did either um i i tend to agree with you that you want

[00:49:42] your candidates particularly on a on a statewide level you want them to be tested um i i just i'm not a fan of what happened um putting aside even though yes vivek has been on this show before but long-time listeners of this show know and if you follow us on social media you know that there have been times where we have been very critical of revet for some of the things

[00:50:10] some of the things that he has repeatedly said and done uh particularly during his uh where his run for president um we have not been shy about criticizing him for the numerous amount of ill-advised inappropriate and unafforded uninformed things that he has said

[00:50:34] about the black community in particular um but putting that aside the principle that dante is talking about i completely agree with you want if he's going to be the governor and as dante said this is a red state so whoever the republican nominee is going to be is going to be a prohibitive favorite

[00:50:57] to be governor unless you know the world implodes from now until november which is which is a possibility so unless he says something very racist which is also a possibility that is true that is true so there so it is a possibility um i do believe that on the democratic side the only one who would

[00:51:22] really be competitive and could beat him is in my opinion is sherrod brown i think sherrod brown if he runs and i've heard he's looking at it um if he runs he'd be he would be very competitive because he him as a candidate is probably the only one that's uniquely positioned to capitalize on what vivek's weaknesses are um but having said that if vivek is going to be the republican nominee which would make

[00:51:52] him the prohibitive favorite in normal circumstances to be the governor he should absolutely be tested he shouldn't be able to just walk in scot-free this is over a year before the election so he should not be able to just walk scot-free into being the nominee he should be tested so i hope he gets that test dante let him know how to follow you sir follow me on instagram and twitter
