We know that it's been a little bit since we've done uh an episode. It's been about a about a month or so. There's been some things going on, some some family stuff that I've had to deal with, and I will be talking about that at a later date. I just want to absolutely thank everybody who has, you know, stuck in there with us and continue to be supporters of this show and and waiting we've baited breath for the next episode. I absolutely appreciate that, and we love each and every last one of you. So we have a special episode today I was able to conduct a couple of interviews on w w E Summer Slam Weekend with three w w E wrestlers. Uh I was able to talk to Baron Corbyn and also talk to the w w E World Tag Team Champions, Tamaso Champlain and Johnny Gargano, Cleveland's own Johnny Gargano, also known as d I Y. We we had great conversation. Everybody was was awesome, Everybody was real cool, and it was it was a really good experience. It was packed in there, and there were so many different media outlets and things like that, but it was it was a really it was a really enjoyable experience. We didn't get a ton of time with them, but we got enough time to get some to get some good material and some good some good information, particularly for Cleveland listeners. Uh you'll hear Johnny Gargano's thoughts on Brown Stadium, which they're actually going to be in this weekend and whether it should stay on the lake Front or go to h suburban Cleveland as people are discussing. So without further ado, we are going to get into that interview. We'll start with Tamaso Champa and Johnny Gargano, d I y the World Tech Team Champions. We'll get to that, the ww Tag Team Champions. Excuse me, we'll get to that right now. All right, we are here at SummerSlam weekend here in my home city and also home city of one half of the Tag Team Champions as well. D I wyld Welcome. How y'all doing good? Man, thanks for having us absolutely so first, before we get this thing started, I heard Sean Ross Sap talking a lot of trash. I think we should ban him from entering in the city of Cleveland. Are asking to ban him from these interview conferences for a. Long time now, unprofessional, unprofessional host. Don't ban Hi because he's unprofessional. Ban him because he's a Bengals. Fan, right and he brought the jersey with his name on it and all that. So man, speaking of that, you talk a lot about being from Cleveland. Man, what does it feel like to be here with this big event in Cleveland SmackDown tonight SummerSlam on Saturday. Yeah, it's literally a dream come true. Man. For years, I have hoped for a Big four wvpl E to be in Cleveland, Ohio. But you know, Cleveland isn't considered like one of the big markets, right, so I just never thought it would happen. But the fact that it's finally happening, it's actually going down. SummerSlam is back in Cleveland, Ohio. All these people from around the world are coming to a city I firmly love and firmly believe in. It's It's so freaking cool, man. I'm ready for this weekend to get going Summer sleep nights. Yeah, keep it going too, is keep going? Yeah? Yeah? Absolutely that that would be amazing. So you guys are also I believe main inventing SmackDown defending the Tag tim Championships. Talk about what that's like. Man, You're main inventing in your home city at the Rocket Mortgage Field House. It's you know, I couldn't write it any better. Man. That was the building I grew up watching TV shows. That's the building where I really solidified my love of this and solidified my desire to want to do this. And the fact that I get to come back there and defend my DOOV Tag Team Championship in the main event in that building in front of my family and friends, like dream come true. Man, Awesome man, Tomaso, you you I've had to go through a lot. You've had to recover from serious injuries. Talk a little bit about what that role, what that journey was like to get from there to where you are. Yeah, man, injuries just part of the game. I feel like I've had more than my fair share, unfortunately. But you know what you're signing up for when you decide to be a pro wrestler, and nothing changes. You know the setbacks are expected. You just keep working hard and you just keep your eye on the prize because you always know better days of to come, and right now we're living in some of the best days. And what kept you going mentally as you were going through through that, knowing that you'd be able to come back, what was able to keep you pushing. So I just have a real desire to achieve more than I've accomplished thus far, and I feel like that's what always just pushes me to keep this going. I love what we accomplished inn NXT, I love what I did on the Independence, I love that we're the tag team champions, But there's so many more pl is that we want to per form on, so many other arenas. That we want to headline. That is just like you. You know that and internally that's what pushes you, like You've got to accomplish that goal. The only way to do it is one foot in front. Of the other. Absolutely, Johnny, we got to spend a little bit of time talking about these new titles. They're absolutely gorgeous. What do you think about the new tech. The most beautiful titles in all professional wrestling? I think what would make them prettier though. Side plates. That's been the IY plus side plates. So we got to get them going tonight. All right. And finally two questions, one for you and then the last one for the both of you, obviously by you being a Cleveland guy and a Browns fan. What's your thoughts on the stadium? Should it stay in the city, should it go to Brookport? There's a hot take considering we're gonna be in that stadium this weekend. Look, I've spent numerous Sundays freezing like crazy in brown Stadium. I went to literally the coldest game in franchise history with my one year old at the time. So I tell you how deep of a Browns fan I am so in saying that I am all about building the don't in brook Park Let's get the dome. I don't want to freeze anyone. Yes, they're gonna build it. Let's build a dome in brook Park. Parking sucks going downtown. I'm really hyping it up. Parking sucks going downtown. It's cold. Let's build a dome, guys. Let's get Russell Mania to Cleveland. Let's build a dome. They're gonna move it though, Yeah, but I like it. They're all And finally, to the both of you. For anybody who's listening, who may want to follow in you guys's footsteps, what advice would you give them? First few, I'm just a kid from Cleveland, Ohio living a dream man. I'm nothing special. I feel like if if I can do it, if you have a dream, I'm sure tonight like there's gonna be kids in that audience at a Rock and mortorfield House seeing their first show like I did twenty eight years ago, and hopefully tonight spark something in them like it it for me. Find yourself a Randy Ordon and make sure you continuously try to rkom because the day I hit that, I tell you I can die happy. That's what I tell you. That's when I tell the kids these days. All right, thank you both for spitters and TIS really appreciate it. Right, stay tuned, we have more to come here. F c B Faith is your rhythm and prey station. Thank you, oh so very much. Now let's get to our interview with Baron Corbin at WWE summersum Weekend here in Cleveland. All right, we are here at SummerSlam weekend here in Cleveland, and I am with Baron Corbin. Welcome out. You doing life is good man, We're hanging out. We're having fun, absolutely man, and so you know, you've had a rebirth in your character. You had a great run in NXT. Talk a little bit about how that was. Yeah, I mean it felt good. It felt good to get down there and really grab on to what I was doing. Because Sean and Russo they wanted me to be creative. They wanted to help me tell the story that I wanted to tell. So we got to get out there and do that. And I think the fans grabbed onto it because they were like, man, this is the first time we're getting the real Baron Corby, and this is this is what we want to see, this is what we want to support. And so for me, it was it was everything. It rejuvenated everything in me. My body felt good coming out of there and back to the main roster, my mind and just the excitement, the energy for this. It's back full throttle. So, and I saw you and and Brian over there kind of doing the wolf Dogs thing. Talk about that, because that that took off. Did you know the wolf Dogs thing was gonna take off like you did? No, I had no clue. I think you know, Russo and Sean saw our relationship as buddies in the locker room and the way we treat each other where we were giving each other a trouble NonStop, and I pick on him like an older brother sometimes and they're like, hey, man, let's put this on screen and see if it works. And it really did. It was really organic, and it took off way more than I ever expected, and people were sad when it came to an end, so that means it was good. It means we got to do it again at some point. Yeah. Absolutely, And during this rebirth, you've become a bit of a fan favorite. Now which one do you enjoy more? Do you enjoy being the fan favorite or do you enjoy being the heel man. I'm having a lot of fun right now being a fan favorite because it's new, it's refreshing, and it's organic. It's not something that we were like, hey he's a good guy, now cheer him like they did it on their own. We never did a turn. I didn't change who I was or how I carried myself. It was very natural, and I think that's what is really cool about it, because the fans are truly enjoying it and they're getting behind me, and it's just so fun to see. Absolutely, and I know we got to wrap this up soon. So a couple of more One for people who are listening who may be interested in want to follow in the footsteps of all of you, all of you guys, what advice would you give. To really invest in yourself and make some take some chances. You know, whatever it is that puts your name out there, you know, whether it's sports or it's TV show or social media, whatever it is, where you can draw that attention and where people want to see you. I think that's the biggest thing to getting your name heard by this this industry. We want people from every walk of life to be a part of w and so the more you can create that buzz around your name, the better. And then just just really be passionate about it, because if you're not, if you're phoning it in, people read right through it and it'll never work. And finally, I heard a little bit of trash talking while I was standing in line, Little Brown's and Chiefs trash talking. So first, how do you think your boys are going to do this year? And also are you and and MS and Johnny gonna have a little friendly wager? I always try to bet them. They always run their mouths MS and Johnny about their team, and then when it comes down to push and shove, they never actually follow through on the bet because they know, deep down their hearts they will never be the Chiefs, they will never be as good as the Chiefs. There's a lot of other. Teams above the Browns. I mean, the Browns are an eight win team, maybe a six win team. So I mean they can hope and dream all they want. It's just Kansas City's gonna three p That's all I have to say. Oh wow, that's a big that's a bold prediction. Well, thanks man for spending some time with us. Appreciated absolutely. Pray one more time. I want to send a special shout out to Tamaso, Champa, to Johnny Gargano, to Baron Corbin from the WWE for spending time with us and doing this interview, doing these interviews I really appreciated. Thank you to the WWE for allowing us to participate in some of the festivities as well. We absolutely appreciate that also. All right, we are out of here. We'll see you next time.
