This is the Hourglass. Hello family, this is Rashima Higgins of the Eyebglass with Bruce and Roshima, and I want to share something with you today. How many times have you said you would wait on God, but guid impatient and decided to take matters into your own hands. So many of us have moved prematurely thinking we could help God. But Proverbs three five to sixcess trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean out on your own understanding. Then always acknowledge Him and he shall direct your past. The message translation of reads in part, trust God from the bottom of your heart. Don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's place in everything you do. Don't assume you know it all. This may sound easier said than done, but I promise you there are steps you can take today to get yourself in the habit of relying on your trust in the Lord instead of your own thoughts. First, understand that trust is a choice. Trust in God requires you to knowledge that you don't know it all and you need help help that only God can give you. The scripture says if you acknowled he will direct your past, and if you trust him, he will guide you. Second, make your relationship with Jesus Christ a priority. You can't hear from God if you don't have a relationship with him. Third, be open to learning about making changes. Growth will always bring change, and when you are walking with God, change is good. Look at it this way. If you want different, you have to do different. Finally, remind yourself daily of the promises of God. He promised to never leave or forsake you. He promises to provide for you. He promises great salvation and the forgiveness of sins. All of these are still available to you if you trust us. God knows what He has in store for you and for your future. Trust and his timing, trust and his plans or promise you it will work out so much better than anything you could have done on your own. Until next time, Family, This is Mishima Haggins of the Poperglass with Thrust and Reshima
