The follow way. It's a presentation of FCD faith. It's take our glass. Hello everyone, this is Bruce Hagens. Hello everyone, this is Mashema Hagen and this is the hour Glass. We're back, guys. How's everybody doing. It's so good to be back with you, guys. We've been gone for quite some time, just trying to get some things uh taken care of. You know, life showed up and we uh with with it. So you know, uh, we're glad to be back. We're glad to be a freshman and new and uh we just want to let you know what. We love you guys, and uh thank you for having us back. Have you anything to say, dere No, I think you just said it. Say something to the people. Roshima. Hi. Everybody, good to be back. That's it. That's it. Let's go okay. So, you know, it's something that's been wearing heavy on me and we've seen a lot of things in this world, a lot of uh current events, world events and the body of Christ and not even just the Body of Christ, but people are seemed to be losing hope. You know. We we try to keep our faith and know that God's gonna work it out on our behalf. But it's so much, it's so many things that's just been happening, and that we just seem to be losing and our hope. So we just want to talk to you guys today and really just sit down and give you guys some reasons to have hope. We want you know, we want you to know that God has has a purpose for your lives and that you know he's not seeing as and not making preparations to take care of it. So we just want to get with you guys today then, and I'm hoping that while I'm talking, you might want to get a paper and a pen or something to write with, because I have some scriptures to give to you guys, so you can look at the scriptures and read the scriptures so you can have this in your spirit that knows that your hope is not all lost. That is that he that he hears you, and that he knows what's going on, and that we should stand firm on his word to know that we are all good. Excuse me, So we're just gonna go ahead and dive in. Is that okay? That's okay? Okay. So the first first thing we were gonna talk about so, and I just want to let everybody know I didn't if you've ever lost hope or just think that the times you're in, the times we're in right now are just causing you to be just no less than optimistic. I just wanted you to know that as long as you have God, as long as you have your faith, you'll always come through. It'll always work out. And hopefully by the time we're done with this show, you'll know that. And we'll give you some points to ponder, some things to pray on, scriptures to read to just let you know that it'll always work out. And so I just want you to be optimistic and hopeful as we talk about reasons to have hope. Amen. Yeah, An, so we know. I just want to go through something real quick between what is hope and what is faith. So I know, faith is what it says, it's a complete trust or confidence and someone or something. That's what faith is. So when we say, well, what is hope, Well, hope is it's the strength. Well, it's the confidence of expectation of what God has promised and his strength and his faithfulness. So when we're looking at faith, we're we're believing. But when we're looking at hope. We're we're believing that we're gonna have faith and what God is going to do, you know, And it's it's plenty of reasons why we are on the earth. You know, it says, you know, I believe in revelations. It speaks on you know, we are here for his good pleasure. So we are here for him. You know, we're here to do what He wants us to do. But you know, it's hard when we uh see so much going around in this world that is just that it's just foolishness. Do you see you hear that? It was like a mighty Russian way that just came through here, y'all. That's fire. Did y'all hear that? Conditi bol So I'm here we go, y'all, let's go. Let's see. That's the hope I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, So listen, hope. Faith, it's a constant reminder of what God is going to do. His word does not turn back void. You know, He's gonna do and He's gonna perform what he say he's gonna do. You know. Uh, it's a it's a lot of issues that we're dealing with. That's a lot of issues that we're dealing with. But you know what one of the one of the scriptures I wanna first start off with, and when we're talking about his word, and that is in Some one nineteen, the one hundred and fourteenth verse, and that reads, your word is my source of hope. I mean within a nut shield, we see the psalm to say, you know, his his word, his word, you know, his word does not turn back void. He is not a guy that lies, and he's not want to repent. His word is hope because we know he's going to perform it. So that within itself, if anything that is happening, let this word be your be your uh, your guide. You want to say, you know you here? Are you here? Yeah? I'm listening. I was. I was just letting you do your spiel, you know. And I actually had a paper here and I can't find it. I had it. I don't know where I put it, Like, what did I do in those two minutes that I lost my paper? So we read Psalms one nineteen, what's the next person? The next verse is Jeremiah thirty one, and the third verse my thirty one and a third and it reads, the Lord appeared to us in the past saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. Yeah, that's what it's saying. So the message of hoping that is that Jesus loves you, that the Lord loves you. That's all you got for me? Nol Like, is that is that where we're going with this? That's what it says. Okay, all right, all right, let me I'm going there, ye because see you know what I'm saying. I mean, come on, God loves you. He loves you too, shaver ye. So but so you know, I you know, I'll speak for myself. I know sometimes when I don't feel love, I don't know if he is there, you know, because you know, I can go through a thing and I'm hoping and praying, you know, I'm hoping and praying that I like, like, like, I fill out for positions for work, right and I want to do something fresh and a new, you know, And I want to move the way God wants me to move. And everything. Every time that I've filled out something, I've been shot down. Every time I do something, I don't get it, you know. And I I stayed almost in a in a state of hopelessness because I'm like, why, you know, why is this not happening? But in the in that verse and Jeremiah thirty one of the third verse, he lets you know that you know his love is everlasting, that he loves you unconditionally, that he knows you know what's good for you. Well, what I got out of that is actually Jeremiah thirty one and four the next verse, because it says I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. And for me, that three and four are saying, even though you're a child of God, and even though you have faith and you do what you're supposed to do. You know, a lot of times we think, because we're a children of God, that we're not gonna face problems and we're not gonna have adversities, and you know, as long as you believe in God, everything's gonna be okay. And that's not true, just because you know, the Word tells us we will have struggles, we will have hills and valleys, right, And that tells me, you know, even though I'm in this place now, God will rebuild me. He'll lift me back up as long as I stay focused and stay prayerful and what he has and and have hope that he believed that he will do what he said, and that I believe in his work and I believe in him, And I think my point, my first point was gonna be as we were talking about hope and we were talking about the definition I think would get it's confused about hope is that people treat hope like it's a wish, And it's not a wish. Hope is the precursor to faith. Am I saying that right? Yes, yes you are, so, you know, according to my hope, my hope is my expectation. It's not wish. I'm not treating God like he's a genie in a bottle. I'm saying I believe in him and I have hope, and I believe. Because of that hope, I believe that whatever He has told me it's coming in my life, it's gonna come. I'm believing in these blessings that He's promised me and for me, hope is that confidence that the blessings that God has promised me will come to pass. Okay, So if we're gonna if we're gonna go there. What about when let's talk about current events world, current events that we see this happening, you know, and we're worried about our we worried about our children. That's dealing with some of these issues. You know. How how does that incorporate your hope and your faith? Then? But I need to stay in that vein with hope. How does that? How do you keep that hope alive? You know what I mean? Like like Jesse, keep hope alive? How do you? How do you know what I'm saying? How do you keep that alive when you see the foolishness that is happening now, you know with Trump and what with other situations that's dealing in the with the government, you know, and then you got situations with with like even new technology that's almost taken over like AI. You know, like you know, I can get a picture in you and and put you somewhere and Tim Buck two somewhere and you right here in Cleveland. You know, I I hear what you saying. I think for me, I believe that first of all, if you're gonna be hopeful, you have to stay hopeful. You can't be up and down and you have to stay hopeful, And for me, hope doesn't mean I understand or that I even know what's coming. That's that's really what hope is. It's like you don't know what's coming, you don't know, you don't know how God is gonna fix it. You just know he is. That's hope. That's faith, right, And I don't know what the answer is going to be as far as what AI is going to mean next year or five years from now and how situations are going to turn out. But I know his word says all things will work good, work to my good. And I know his word tells me that I'm gonna be victorious because I'm his child. So my hope keeps me mindful, and it keeps me studying and praying and believing that that's what's gonna happen. I don't a lot of times, you can't get caught up in how things look because something's really are out there to distract the children of God from God. You know, I can't be so focused on what's going on, not saying that I need to be ignorant and I that I'm not going to pay attention, but I can't be so focused on what's going on in the world that I lose sight of what God has told me about me, and what he's told me about my family, and what he's told me about my purpose in this world, because we all have a purpose. It's not just a select group of people. Everybody, if you are allowed to live, you have a purpose, so you I I don't want to be so focused on what's going on in the world that I lose sight of that. And I watch the news and all the news outlets, and I like to keep up on things, but there are days where I don't watch any of it. I need to pray, I need to talk to God about some things. There's some days I don't get on social media. You know, I just unplugged cause I need to stay focused on what God has told me about me. And if I'm not focused, I don't know how to pray. I don't know how to have I don't know. My faith is moving around, no, my faith, my faith is not studying. My hope is dwindling. And that's not a place I want to be. That's not a place that I can afford to get to. I've I've had moments for I've gotten that way, but at this thing, we have to be mindful. That's especially in the times we're living now. We need to be more hopeful than ever. You have to believe stuff. Things are gonna change, and things are gonna work for the for the good of the of the kingdom. Here let me let me switch into the other lane and and and slow it down about till about a fifty five miles because I want to touch on this because you said you made a point where you said when it comes to you and how God is with you. You know, I just want to reach out to our audience right now and speak on this. You know, we are not perfect. We have all none of us are perfect. None no, not one, no not one. And we have all done some things that we're not proud of. And you know, condemnation hits us sometimes. And and the Word says, don't fall into condemnation. Don't let the enemy think that God does not love you, or think that God doesn't see you and does not forgive you. And because this goes on to my next scripture, and that's uh Psalm one forty five eighth and the ninth verse, and he speaks on God has grace and compassion for you. The Word of the Lord says. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, rich and love. The Lord is good to all. He has compassion on all he has made. So I just want to just reach out to you right now to let you know that God is so slow that I mean, it's I mean you can't even say long suffering. I mean, because that's how slow his anger is towards us, because he knows everything about us. So I just want to encourage you to keep hope and and like my wife said, you know, go go before the throne of brace and give it to God. He says, lay your burdens before him, that he can he can burn it up in the quitchable fire, I mean the unquitchable fire. He can burn it up for you. And know that your hope can be restored through God. He is just waiting for you to come with open arms to him, so he cannot uh dissipate that whatever it is that's that you're falling into condemnation for, because it says, you know, he will give you peace to surpass us all understanding. You know, you wouldn't even understand where the peace comes from. But that's what he does because that's how powerful, and that's how loving that our Lord is towards us. That that's just that's just really a powerful thing that the speak apart. Uh, you got anything there. So my next point was gonna be how just that we have to keep hope, you know, always be hopeful and stay in that place. And it's really hard. And if we can go back to the story of Abraham, you know, Romans four eighteen says against our hope, Abraham and hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, so shall be your offspring. You know, there was nothing about Abraham's life that made sense that he would be a father, that he would you know, be as prosperous as as God had told him. All he had was his hope. And there are times when you are going to be in situations, probably more than any of us care to be, where you don't have anything else. You know, you're not gonna have anything else but your hope. Your hope is your precursor to your faith's precursor to the you know, the love of God. There's there's hope. And I just really want to encourage everybody today that there is a hope. There's a spiritual hope that nobody can take away from you, nobody can change because it's in you. And if you have it, all you have to do is tap back into it and just have the hope of Abraham. You know, it didn't look like anything God said what happened? But he kept hope, He kept hoping and it happened, right man, man, Yeah, yeah, and that's good. That's good. And with that being said, that that hope that you keep goes a long way because the Lord knows since you have that hope in him, he will not dismay against you are, He will not leave you in the situation because he knows you are an expectation for him to do what he said he was gonna do. Right, And that was my next point. Hope is always at work because when you're operating an expectation, which also is another way of saying operating and hope, when you're moving in hope, that expectation is what caused your angels to respond. You know a lot of people like to say, you know, I manifested it. No, you didn't, got allowed it to happen, excuse me. Hope is what allows things to happen. Your faith is what allows things to happen because you're being open to that, to that release of those blessings. You're being open to things working out. You know, some not everything can be. Not all blessings are going to be seen immediately. Some things take time and that's where that hope comes in. As long as you have hope, then those things work out. You know, the businesses that you want to build, you know, the funds to come, and the services that you need, and the connections you need to make. Why you're in that hope that while you're in that place of hope, those things are being connected. Those things are being revisited, revitalized, you know, as things are coming to work out. You know, for your good, you need that hope so things can keep moving. You know, just just real talk. You know, you need that hope so stuff can come together and work out for you. You might not see it right away, but you have to be patient and let God be God because He's gonna do it. But you need that hope and that faith to let it come to pass. Yeah. Yeah, and you know, and it's good that you say that because you know, uh, God is always with you He's always with you the audience. He's always with you, guys. You know, just like when Moses have passed away, you know, and God said, hey, you know, my servant Moses is gone, you know, dills up up to Joshua, you know. And the thing about that is, you know, and his word in Isaiah forty one and the tenth verse, this is what God says. He says this, He says, do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. This is what God is saying to me and you, guys, this is what He's gonna do, he said, He said, I'm gonna help you with my righteous right hand. I'm gonna you know what I'm saying. And you can't nobody pluck you out of God's hand. He is always with you. And no matter what situation and no matter where you are, God is with you. He's everywhere all of the say, he's with He's with us right now, you know, he with us right now, you know, with the heavenly host, you know, with the holies of holies, you know what with the link angels I'm talking about. We're talking about the twenty four elders. I'm talking about what don't don't don't hate because the fire I I don't. I don't have a collection plate right now? Whatever? So can we go back to yeah, go ahead, Okay. The other verse you had was Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. I did have that person. Do you remember that I do? It says it reads for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. All right, go ahead and speak on that then, So excuse me. That versus is very common. You know, everybody knows that verse. Everybody talks about that verse, but they don't. What we don't do is we don't focus on that last sentence. Plans to give you hope and a future. Yes, so God gives you hope. He wants you to continue in that hope because that is what begins your future. Right. God knows what he has plans for you. You don't have to know. You I gonna always know, trust me, You're not gonna know all you may know in part where it says we know in part, so you'll know bits and pieces, and that hope is it's almost like it's like a it's confidence and it's just trust. You know, I trust God to do what he says he's gonna do. That's hope. Excuse me to give you hope and a future. He has a purpose for you, everybody that can hear this message. God has a purpose for you. It's not about what title you are in your church or was or not even in a church. God has a purpose and that purpose starts with hope. Okay, you know what his fun that you mentioned about. If you're in the church or if you're not in the church. If we go back a couple of years when COVID hit, nobody was in church, nobody, right, so you had to pretty much fend for yourself to get the word and do what needed to be done while we were in this season of COVID. So that was a time right there, well we all had to stay hopeful. No one no one knew what was gonna be the outcome of this. No one knew what happened, what was gonna happen, you know, And I just want to speak to the audience, right now, if you can just remember if it was a time, if it was one time where you was hopeful that something that was gonna come out of the situation where we was dealing with this COVID situation, and it happened for you. Your hopefulness claimed true that God saw what it was and worked on your behalf for that time, for that season, you know, And I mean you know, you hear people say, well, you know, I ain't got to go to church because the churches and me and this that, and I understand that. But it says, do not disassemble yourself from the saints. But then still and another part of that, though, is that you can be hopeful and what God has for you because he has he knows the plans that He has for you, you know. And Sign one thirty nine and the thirteenth of the fourteenth verse it says, for you created my most and most being, You knit me together and my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full. You know, when we was, when we was in our mother's womb, he knew COVID was gonna happen. That's crazy, right, And he knew how everything was gonna work out. Even back then we wasn't even thought of. We had no idea what him COVID was gonna come. We ain't know about it. He knew and he had everything in place. That's why I'm just trying to I want you guys out there to stay hopeful that whatever you are going through, you can take it to God and let and strengthen your faith to Him and stay hopeful that He is going to perform what he said he is going to do for you if you just bring it to him a man man. And just a reminder of what we were talking about earlier too. As long as you have God, you have hope. If you know God, you have hope. It sounds really simple, but sometimes I think we forget just how simple being a Christian can be. Sometimes we make it so overly complicated. And you know, if you're not a theologian or you haven't been through a rigorous training program, no, all you all you need is hope, hope, faith and love. Those are the three. Those are the three things that God tells us to have hope, faith in love. Right, Yes, so that's all we need and hope is a precursor of all of that. And I keep saying that because it really is. It's it's where it all begins. You hope, and you believe, and you hope and and you believe that God is going to do what he says he's gonna do, and you know that He's going to protect you and whatever you're going through. I just want to encourage any anybody just listening, if you are in a place and you feel hope, less or less hopeful than you have been in the past, I just want to encourage you to tap into the word of God and read the scriptures that we're sharing today, and you know, find some more of your own that you know will lift you back up to that place. And you know, and when you pray to God, just ask him another thing. I think we you know, we make too complicated as prayer, you know, prayers a conversation. Talk to God about why you're feeling hopeless and ask him to get you to that place or show you how to get to that place where you're now hopeful. Talk to him about whatever's going going on and ask him to help you. Ask him to send the people that can help you. You don't have to don't have to do it alone, or you don't have to sit and suffer in silence. So I just want to encourage you ever is listening to this, if you're in a place of hopelessness, I just want to be that voice that that lets you know there's always hope because God has kept you here, So anytime he's he's here with you always. Yeah, ma'am, and see it. And on top of that, you are a child of God. You are the era of Him. You know, he is your eye of Father. You know you are you know you are inherited into into the kingdom with your father. It says in first John three, the first version, it says, see what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are. Period. You know, you can go to your father and and and share with him what it is you need, what it is you want, and and and bring this, bring this to pass, for he loved you because you are his child. You know. I know. It's a lot of wicked and evil and diverse things are happening in this world right now. And I'm even myself, even myself, I'm like lords you know, can't can you you know, can you hit one down from me? I mean, can you know? I mean, what's going on? Can you strike one down from me? What the thing is? He says? Revenge? Revenge is minds, says the Lord. So it ain't for me to even really ask help. Can he even strike one die? Because he like, you know that ain't that ain't what you that, ain't what you about. That ain't what you're supposed to be coming to me with. You're supposed to be come to me with love and joy, peace and happiness and good will for your fellow brothers and sisters. And he will handle the mess that is going on. And I and I have to remind myself to stay hopeful and that I have to remind myself to be like, Okay, Lord, I don't want to, you know, just to get out of myself. And you know, sometimes I'll be tired. I'm like, I don't want to do this. I don't want to do that. But if I am in this state of hopefulness, knowing that I can help my fellow brothers and sisters who are hopeful less, this is what I must do, damn. And so I want to take the second part of this episode and talk about how does hope work? All right? Right, yeah, so we're gonna take our break now, yeah, and we'll be back shortly. This is Rashiema Hagans and this is Bruce Hagen's the second and this is the hour Glass. We'll be right back bye. Welcome back, guys. This is Bruce Hagans and I'm rashie Ma Hagans and we are the hour Glass. Thank you for tuning in with us. And this is the second segment of our show. What is this one? This is how does hope work? How does it work? Really? So? Oh so we know that hope is always at work. Romans eight twenty five says, but if we hope for what we do not yet have we wait for a patient shop me. That's the nib. Do you want another translation? I'm a King James guy. Okay, let me find it and King James for you. If it's easier for you, let it be new King James. So I want to keep the vs and the dolls out, all right, I ain't go back there? Can you switching up on me? All right? Don't? It's okay? Now where'd it go? Okay? Excuse me? A twenty five says and a New King James. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. So I say that that's good. Oops, okay, come on, so that's good. I thought you were going to expound on that fastball. No, So that means the force of hope is a godly expectation, right, So we keep in mind that we are gonna stay optimistic and we're gonna expect God to do what he says, because nothing God does will ever work out for our bad. You know, it's always gonna work out fur good, because that's God. So if we're talking about you know, if we if we hope for what we do not have, we wait for it patiently. So to hope require some patience, yes, okay, yes, and through trials and tribulations. I want to say, that's how you know, you kind of tap into that hope from this through the through that vein of patience. Yeah, knowing that what it says, let patience have its work is perfect. Yes, Yes, that's what I'm talking about doing. So a spiritual hope for godly hope knows that God is going to provide, Yes, and and we we expect it, and we're taught some of us, you know, sometimes we're taught to walk in expectation. Right, that's a message of hope. I'm expecting it. I don't know when it's coming. I don't know how it's gonna come, but it was coming. Yes, that's hope, right, yes. And just to even go back to this patience and hope, we have to also know that God he understands your pain. If you're going through something that's kind of hindering, you know, you just stay hopeful because it says in Isaiah fifty three and the third verse it says he which is Jesus, was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering and familiar with pain. We we go through pain, and sometimes the pain could just be unbearable and and it and it hits you, hits you like a ton of bricks and use and you lose your hopeful this, you lose that. But you know, nothing is new to God, nothing is new to Jesus because he went through it. So just to let you know that, you know, just keep and it may be tough and it may be hurting right now, but stay hopeful because he knows your pain, he knows what you're going through. He you know, it's not it's nothing that you went through that he has not been through. Okay, So I just want to encourage our audience, you know, suffering and pain. You know know that you know he has been there and he knows what it is what we go through. So just that's another thing I'm trying to just you know, incorporate, and you gotta staying hopeful and and and whatever we're going through today, where you know, we walk with you. You know, it may not be the same situation, it may not be the same issue, but we all go through issues, we all go through something, you know. I mean, it's funny because it's like the more and I'm gonna say, I'm gonna I'm gonna just keep it one hundred. I'm gonna keep it straight one hundred. The more that we see the enemy, the adversary, Satan, the devil, the more that we see his and principalities rise up even more and more in the time that we are dealing with and for we are in the end times. It's something always dog on happening every day I'm talking about and I'd be like man, can I just get one day at piece? Can I just you know, can I just chill out one day? So I share this with you guys to let you know that you know, we are battling this all together. But if we you, I, my wife, we all stay hopeful. God is gonna do what He's gonna do. And we all were already triumphal He already wondered about it. We just need to just walk in this and continue to keep moving forward with the strength that He has given us, which is hope. The Hebrews eleven and one says say it, faith is a substance of things, hope for the evidence of things not seen. Yes, so yes, I'm gonna ask everybody to read Hebrews eleventh the entire chapter, because it talks about the promises of God that came by faith. But it tells us in the very first verse that faith is the substance of things, hope for a meaning you have to have hope to have faith. And and I just hate I didn't mean to cut you off. And before you read it, asks God to give you unders standing before you even read it, so so it can resonate with your spirit, so you can feel you need to feel this, you know, because like I said, we are we are dealing in times right now. I'll tell you what I bet you feel. I bet you can feel when the enemy is at you or what like maybe your your boss on you for some reason, or you know you're dealing with a man or a woman and you know the you know, the argument turns, you know, the conversation turns left to an argument and you trying to figure out what's going on or what happened that is that enemy attacking you. I bet you can feel that. So we're asking you to ask God to to to touch your mind and your heart that you may receive and feel that scripture. And anytime you read, anytime you read the word God, always ask God for the revelation and understanding of whatever you're reading. So back to he Rows eleven and one. Faith is a substance of things hope for which means to me that hope starts by faith. Like we've been talking, right, So hope gives us the picture and faith takes it and runs with it. Does that make sense? No? Okay, let me go ahead. So if I have hope, that means I'm I literally have a picture. Just think about how it starts. I have hope, I have a picture of what I oh, what God has told me about me? Right, so I have to have faith that that's going to happen. So by faith, by studying, by prayer, that's how it's going to move. My faith is gonna move whatever God has told will be about me because my hope is an agreement, and that's how it's gonna move. Okay, And I get that. Say, we are new in the walk of faith and hope, and you're not really even sure are You haven't heard from God what your purpose is for? What does that look like? Well? How do we walk now? Until until that happens. Then you're hopeful that you're doing what He wants you to do. And you're hopeful because you're reading his word. You know, you read the Word, and the Word tells you whatever you're doing, if you do it in his name, it'll be successful. You're real prosper because you're doing things in His name. So whatever you're doing, I say, you know, read, read the Word, and and do it in the in the name of Jesus, focused on what, how, and not even how what? Focused on how he wants you to move and praying for that understanding to know how he wants you to move. Okay, I get that. That's that's now. That's good. That's good because you know we're where it's it's a lot a lot of people that are that are new in the faith and they want to they want to get closer to God, they want to get closer to Christ and the enemy. You know. That's just like what it says is when when the word is set has been set out forth, the enemy comes instills it immediately, you know. And that's that's what's happening right now. You know. We we we find people now are are and anxiety and depressed because you know, the enemy is moving. I mean like like he said, like he said, I'm a roaring lion. I couldn't you know, up and down to and fro like a roaring lion, you know, seeing who I can destroy. You know, this is what he's doing, you know, and he's claiming true to what he's doing. And the people need to know how to stay hopeful of this and what what this looks like on the level of of of winning this battle, you know, and we know that uh, God can redeem any situation for the word says in Psalm one h three one and four verse, it says, praise the Lord my soul, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion from the pit, from the from however low that we've been down, however low we are, now raises you up from the pit and crowns you my brother, my sister. Whatever you're going through, he can redeem you. He can lift you up from the pit and bring hopefulness to you in any situations. There's nothing it ain't nothing too hard. God's right. All things are possible through Christ to strengthen me and you. Guys, all things are possible. He is the redeemer, and you can have. You know you have hope even when, especially even when you know when you're in the midst of a crisis, when you're just in the middle and it looks like nothing it's gonna work out, that hope will bring you out, that hope will keep you saying that hope will be your anchor Hebrew six nineteen, that this hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. Yes, that's what hope does for you. You know, when you're standing in your faith and you're believing God for something, but what's happening around you doesn't match what you're believing. It doesn't match with people you know spoken over you, which you heard God say that hope is your anchor, that just keeps you grounded, keeps you, you know, firm, standing firm in your faith until something changes. Yeah, because to be to be hopeless is a contradiction to someone that's in victory. A hopeful person is in victory. But if you're hopeless, you can't see that victory because you don't have any hope to drive the faith to bring forth the blessing and the victory. So you know, like like you said, honey, it's it's it's a lot going on. But even with everything that's going on, what's going on with God and what's going on with the in the Kingdom of God is greater and it's always going to be victorious over whatever's going on in the natural and what we see a lot of things that we see are just smoke screens to keep us distracted from what we're supposed to be doing. And I you know, and I I've caught myself doing it, you know, I've been I've I've been on social media once no too long, and I thought, you know, I really could have been doing something else but by time. But that's just that distraction that the enemy puts in in a way, and and we don't pay attention to it sometimes. But standing in the place of hope, standing in the place of faith is what is what gets us to those victorious places, and it keeps us firm and and you know, just able to withstand whatever's going on. Not everything is in our control. So if we if something's do happen, our hope and our faith, our prayers, that's what keeps us anchored until something changes. Man and man and the forgiveness of it all, you know, we were sometimes, you know, and I need to, I need to kind of pull back because when we feel hopelessness, we feel that we can't be forgiven, and God extends complete forgiveness, you know. So I just wanna, you know, elaborate on on again. If if you're feeling in a place of hopelessness and that you cannot be forgiven, that is not true. Don't let condemnation fall on you. Don't let the enemy speak into your ear that you cannot be forgiven for whatever the case may be for Insom eighty six, and the fifth version reads, Oh Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who asks for your help. All you have to do is ask him. All you have to do is ask him, and and he will. He will provide. He will be there for you to bring to lift up your faith, to to to get you back on that road of hopefulness. You know. That's the funny thing. And I just I want to go to the next one too, because this this is important, because I want to share this. It says God comforts you and comforts others through you, and any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive God. And this is Second Corinthians one three to the fourth verse. So I'm sure this. I was at work the other day and I was in a place of I was just bad. I was in a real bass uh place in my mind and in my heart, you know, because I you know, I was just going through some stuff. And I saw this young lady walk by me, and I said to her, I said, good morning, sister, you all right, and she said, pray for me, and the Holy Spirit right there said leave that card there go get her and pray for her. Because I told her to come back, and she just kept going. You know why, she started crying. So I left my car and I went and I and I grabbed her and I didn't even ask her what was wrong. I just went right into prayer right then and there for her. As I went into prayer for her, another young brother stopped and he he you know, he bowed his head. So now we got well, it says with two or three, my man Jesus there right, so we it's old now. So I'm praying for her and I didn't ask what it was. I prayed for her and I gave her words of comfort. I share that with my brothers, my sisters out there, to let you know, if there's any way that he wants to use you, let him use you, and he will give you that comfort of hopefulness. Once you take off, once you realize what's not wrong with you and something's going on with somebody else, your hopefulness will strengthen up, your faithful strength strengthen up because you have that in you. Each and every one of us has a measure of faith, so that hopelessness, that hopefulness is in you. So when you see somebody else that's maybe worse off than you are, maybe struggling, ask him if you could pray for them and watch and see how your spirit will will will will rise and it will it will, it will get out that dormant state. And I'm telling you you you will see and you'll be able to tap in to the hopefulness that is in you. A man. I was just about to say, that's it, that's the thing. Hope is already in you. That's what I'm saying. Hey, you know this confirmation, then come on, Oh no, but not nearly. Excuse me, not nearly, as with that kind of power, I ain't making me choke you. So you said, Second Corinthia is one, uh huh, three and four. Yes, okay, I'm gonna read it. Blessed be the God of our and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. A man, A man, a man. That's what it says, that that comforted someone else that's also in trials and tribulation. They are hopelessness that they trying to figure out what's going on. We all listen, listen, my brothers and my sister, listen, were all in this together. We all trying to work. We're all trying to figure it out. You know, we're all trying to work all our salvation with fear and trembling. Were all trying to get together to understand what it is to stay hopeful and to know that he is going to claim true or what he's gonna claim true to do so hope. Yes, the other part of hope herews eleven and one. We've already read it. But faith is a subset of things. Hope for the evidence of things. I've seen those unseen things, and here was eleven one. Are things seen with the eyes of hope. Hope always sees before the natural eye can. And some of us have trouble focusing on those unseen things because we only receive what we can see. So that is our reality, what we can see. Hope. When you look at things through the eyes of hope, you're hoping for things you can't see. Is that easy to do? No, it's not. It's not an easy thing to do. That's why when we're in that state that we can't see it, and we hope that's why we go into prayer. Okay, God listens to our prayers and can help us with that, it says, and Hebrews four in the sixteenth words, it says, let us then in approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. No, it's not easy. That's why it says, come boldly before the throne of grace, come to his throne. And the thing is, he waits for you. That's what he honors. That he honors that if you if you don't go, you can't get Let's seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be open. You have to you have to move forward to activate the faith for hopefulness. We can't see it. We're hoping that we can get it. That's why he says, come to the throne. Come to the throne. He got you. And and let's right, and I ain't even talking about material things. I'm talking about issues that all right, I'm talking about Say you're hurting, I mean I'm talking about it just the I mean, it may not be big to some people, but it's big to others. Say a toothache. You're hoping that this pain go away. You hain't see it, but you feel it, right right, same difference if someone is is at you and and it's hounding you are troubling you. This is a pain. You can't see it, but you you you, you know it's there. You're hoping that this will go away. You want this to go away. You have to take it to God. You have to take it to God. When you're hoping for this, you have to take it to God. And when we see things, when we instead of accepting that as our reality, we have to train ourselves to say, I don't accept this. I'm gonna talk to God about it. And God is gonna and and because I'm talking to God, I'm gonna renew my mind. I'm gonna read, study, and meditate on the word of God, and I'm gonna wait for him to answer me. Sometimes you can't do that on your own strength, though, you have to ask him. Okay, you know, hey, Lord, you know renew my mind and my heart, renew me. You know, I need a real. I need a new mind, I need a new heart that I may receive what it is that you have for me, so I can stay hopeful. You know, you know we we ask for stuff that God ain't honoring it because it ain't even of him. But what we stay, what we keep ourselves in a situation of hurt, hoping for something that ain't even God's will, that ain't even his plan for you. We need. I need to when I'm in a situation and I'm starting to get hopeful hopefulness if this word hope, hopelessness, the hopelessness all right, that I need to go because it's because this is the reason. And Isaiah forty and the thirty thirty first verse it says, even youth grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. But those who hope hear me, those who hope and the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Those who hope in the Lord. Amen, you feel that, Yes, he says, all you who uh weary and and and and heavy laden, come to me, and I will give you, he said, I will give you rest hope in the Lord. So hope, hope in the Lord. Well, well, increase my faith, take me to a place of victory. Yes, yes, and not only victory, peace, victory and peace. Yes, because His promises for you are for you. His will for you is for you, no matter what, matter what's going on, his promises aren't for you. Yes, And that's one of the reasons that we continue to have hope. Amen. Amen, I want to before we before we go, I want to read something. I want I want the I want my brothers and my sisters out there to take hold to this. This is very powerful. It's very powerful. And this is the ninety first Psalm, and this psalm as the psalm that lets you know trouble is gonna come. Things are gonna happen. You know. You know it's not like the world like, it's not like life is not gonna show up. But you stay hopeful and know that He has you. He had dwells. He that dwells in the sacred place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Him, will I trust surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the flower and from the newsomd pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and bunkler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor the arrows that flies by day, nor for the pestilence that walk in the darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes that noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, in ten thousand at thy right hand, but it should not come thigh thee. Only with thy eye shall thou be and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord which is my refuge, even the most high thy habitation, there shall no evil befall me. Neither shall any plague come thou my dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest they dash their foot against a stone. They shall tread upon the lions and the addler, the young lion and the dragon shall allow trouble o their feet. Because He has set his love upon me. Therefore, will I deliver him, I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him, and I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. And with long life, will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. That is one of the most powerful psalms that has been written, especially if we read that psalm and apply it to the things that we are dealing with in this world today. My brothers and sisters, I just want to let you guys know that He is with you. Stay hopeful. The word of the Lord says no weapon formed against THEE shall prosper, and anything that comes against THEE shall be condemned by the Lord. He will take care of it. Stay hopeful, my brothers and sisters, Stay hopeful. Disney, Yes, and so I'm ninety one fourteen to sixteen. And the message translation reads this way, if you hold on to me for dear life, says God, I'll get you out of any trouble. I give you the best of care. If you'll only get to know and trust me, call me in our answer, be at your side, and bad times I'll rescue you can throw you a party. I'll give you a long drink of salvation. So I'm just just adding on to what you've already said. You know, if, like we've already said in this in this show, you know, hope is the beginning of all things and whatever's going on. If you know God and you hold on to God, and if you believe him, and like he said, hold on to him for dear life, he will rescue you and usher you into a place of victory. He said, throw your party, and throw your party. Yeah, that's all right, that's all right, Lord, that's all right. So yeah, So before I before I pray, and we we conclude our segment Year My thirty three, and the third verse says this was God says. He says, called to me, and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know. My fellow brothers and sisters, we come to you and love today. I just wanted to share with you to please stay hopeful, especially in these times. We know that the end times are here. I mean, it's the evidence is all around us. You know. The enemy is rearing his ugly head to and fro up and down to see who he can devour. But stay hopeful, stay prayerful, to know that God is with you. Whatever your situation is, take it to the Lord and he will He will make it all right. And the Mighty name of Jesus. We come before you, Lord, and we thank you. We give you praise, honor and glory, Father, because you are Alpha and Omega. You are at the beginning end, the end, the first end, the last, sovereign with all power. Lord, for you are power and the Mighty name of Jesus. I launch out and I lift up every brother and sister that is under the sound of my voice, that is going through anything that is holding on with both hands to hold onto you for hopefulness, to they can move forward and be triumphal in the victory because it's already won. Asking you, Lord, that you touch their minds and their hearts that they can move forward and power, give them knowledge, wisdom, strength, courage and power to get closer to you, Father, that they may know that all things work for the good for those who love you, according to your will and purpose. Father. We give you praise, honor and glory, for we know you, Father are the one. We thank you, Father, and the name of Jesus. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, our Lord, our Strength, our Redeemer. We love you, Father, and praise you, and we praise no one above you. In Jesus name, we pray Amen.
