[00:00:01] This is the FCB Podcast Network.
[00:00:09] Just Listen to Yourself presents.
[00:00:12] I'm just saying with Kira Davis.
[00:00:15] President Trump has been convicted of 34 counts of something.
[00:00:19] The sham trial of the millennium has finally concluded.
[00:00:22] And although it's not surprising that a New York City jury would hate Trump
[00:00:26] enough to ignore four weeks of evidence or lack thereof, it's still disheartening.
[00:00:32] The fix seemed to be in from the start.
[00:00:34] The judge was hopelessly biased, gagging Trump while letting other so-called
[00:00:38] witnesses speak freely in public.
[00:00:40] The charges were and still are unclear.
[00:00:43] The judge refused to allow any explanations of campaign finance law.
[00:00:48] He allowed the testimony of a known perjurer.
[00:00:51] The trial should never have been allowed to proceed in New
[00:00:54] York City in the first place.
[00:00:56] President Trump was assured he would never have an impartial jury of his peers.
[00:01:01] But most frightening of all is how this verdict upends what little faith
[00:01:05] Americans had left in the justice system.
[00:01:07] It also sets a dangerous precedent.
[00:01:10] Trump isn't guilty of election fraud, but presidents past and present have
[00:01:14] engaged in all sorts of shady activities.
[00:01:16] The Clintons are probably murderers.
[00:01:19] Republicans have no choice.
[00:01:21] As soon as Biden leaves office, they must begin the prosecutions and they
[00:01:24] shouldn't stop with the president.
[00:01:26] The gloves are off, but it's the American people who will be bloodied and bruised.
[00:01:31] Our justice system is now a political weapon and that does not bode well for
[00:01:35] the trust a citizenry must have in the law, nor does it bode well for
[00:01:39] the future of our Republic.
[00:01:41] Trump must win big in November and everyone concerned with justice should be
[00:01:46] thinking about what part they can play in that.
[00:01:48] Volunteer as a poll watcher or a polling place worker.
[00:01:52] Volunteer to observe vote counting.
[00:01:55] If you live in a state where ballot harvesting is legal, like my own, go
[00:01:58] collect the ballots of your neighbors to ensure their proper and lawful delivery.
[00:02:03] Spend a Saturday dropping flyers.
[00:02:05] Preserving the integrity of the upcoming election is key and a task that must be
[00:02:09] taken seriously in light of the recent shenanigans in New York City.
[00:02:14] I can't believe I'm saying this about a billionaire, but Trump is a victim.
[00:02:19] Worse, the American system is a victim.
[00:02:22] This is unfair, unjust and despicable political prosecution.
[00:02:27] One this country will surely live to regret.
[00:02:31] I'll be voting for Trump in November.
[00:02:33] I can only hope my fellow Americans join me in numbers too large to cheat away.
[00:02:39] I'm Keira Davis and I'm just saying.
[00:02:43] This has been a presentation of the FCB Podcast Network, where real talk lives.
