Now this is the FCNB podcast network. Just listen to yourself presents. I'm just saying with Davis, twenty twenty four is upon us, and for Americans it promises to be a very tumultuous year as we enter another election cycle. There's a lot to be anxious about, a lot to worry about, a lot to fear. I get messages every day from people seeking reassurance about our political future. Others simply want to express their fears that the best days of America are behind us. Some want me to know this is the most important election in our nation's history, and America is lost if our preferred candidate doesn't win. My job is politics, so naturally I don't dismiss all the concerns and feers about this very important upcoming election. But as we celebrate the turn of another year and reflect done where we've been over the past year, I think it's important to keep perspective. You are not in control of the world around you. You have a part to play, but it's only a part. So in twenty twenty four, release yourself from the anxiety that comes from worrying about politics too much. Do your part, but don't let the craziness of politics, even serious politics, make you ignore or forget the blessings around you. When you accept that you are not in control, it releases you to accept every moment with the things and the people you know, as a gift. This year, as we roll into a season of high stress, let's all pledge to choose gratefulness. It's going to make the coming crazy days much more tolerable. Happy New Year, and go with God. I'm Kira Davis, and I'm just saying. This has been a presentation of the FCB podcast network work where Real Talk lives Visitors online at FCP podcasts dot com.
