I'm Just Sayin - Ronna McDaniel Gets Fired...Again
Now this is the FCB podcast network. Just Listen to Yourself presents. I'm Davis. Former chairwoman of the Republican National Committee. Ron McDaniel has been fired from her talking head job at NBC after complaints from News division employees like Chuck Todd and Chris Hayes and an unsurprising stream of vitriol from NBC's progressive viewing base. The argument for her firing is as weak as every progressive criticism. She's a Republican, and the mainstream press that has turned politics into occultish religion has deemed anyone who sits right of the center as a threat to democracy. It's the same immature, stunted thinking that drove outlets like MSNBC and The New York Times to decide they would not directly quote President Trump and instead do us idiots out here in regular America the favor of contextualizing Trump's comments, rather than their journalistic duty of directly quoting him and then letting the consumer process the information. As I said earlier, it's unsurprising, and were at another woman, perhaps I might feel some sort of injustice for the victim here. But Rona McDaniel has exhibited nothing but contempt for the Republican base and for average Americans who are affected every day by the rotten politics Republican leaders like McDaniel claim to be fighting. Her let them eat cake attitude has sown distrust among Republican and conservative voters, and her fatal flaw of not being a Democrat so distrust among the Baltleigh political chatter class. Her firing may be unfair, but she has no one to care, and she did it to herself. The people she needs to defend her right now despise her. She's not principled enough to speak boldly about vital cultural issues, and she's not progressive enough to entice the MBA audience or staff. McDaniel is discovering that the fence she's been writing is captain barbed wire, and now she can't jump off that fence to either side without getting snagged and bleeding out. And frankly, it couldn't have happened to a better politician. I'm Kira Davison. I'm just saying.
