Ep. 9 - The Biden "Student Loan Forgiveness" Scam

Alii is back to talk about President Biden's Student Loan forgiveness scam.
This is the FCB podcast Network. This is Pillow Talk with Allie Michelle on the podcast network. Welcome back to an episode of Pillow Talk with Alie Michelle. I am your host, Alie Michelle. I wanted to record an episode where I am talking about the student debt relief stuff, and with that we're getting right into it. Just imagine, okay, put yourself in this shows. Just imagine being so mad that a single mother who put herself through college to have a better life for her child to support independently. Okay, she scored a job, she has her life together, she paid off her own student debt, and you are mad that you, as a single person, you yourself alan only have to take care of yourself. You're so mad that she won't pay your student debt. Please explain that to me. And also and then okay, so hear me out. Parents have five kids, They put all their kids through college, took out loans to pay the loans, paid those loans, or just work their bought off and paid off their kids student loan debt. Now imagine being so mad at them that they're not going to pay off your student loan debt. You take out the loan you pay the loan. We as a society have become so comfortable with the fact that you know somebody else will handle your responsibilities. You're not being held accountable. It's like taking out a mortgage and saying, you know, I don't want to pay this thirty year mortgage. We need mortgage debt relief. That's so silly, you know what I'm saying. That's just it's just completely ridiculous. And I don't think it's your fellow Americans that you need to be angry with. I think it's you know, the amount of the amount that these colleges are forcing you to pay in order for you to quote unquote be successful in life. First and foremost, I just want to state you should pick up a trade. Trades are in such high demand right now. But everybody wants to be a psychologist, or everybody wants to be a psychiatrist, or everybody wants to just be a counselor, which is great jobs, and I think, yeah, we do need them. But if you pick up a trade, you will never not have work. Say, something terrible happens and you're running little on funds and your husband's out of work, and you know, counseling is just not paying the bills. What about now, say something terrible happens and your husband's out of work and you're struggling to pay the bills and all you have, you know, your counseling isn't you know, paying the mortgage. And you have a trade under your belt, you can go hop in you know, cut a blue haircut, couple of haircuts, a couple of hair collars. That's a trade. Beauty school, women beauty school, or a nail set. Or maybe beauty school isn't your thing. You can get into painting. You really like painting, so you can become a painter. Or you like building, so you become a carpenter or electrician or truck driving. There's endless possibilities of blue collar work. Right. We have become so brainwash set the only way to be successful is getting a degree. And I'm not saying going to college is terrible. I love learning, I love school, I love everything about it. It's just a little too costly for me, you know what I'm saying. There's so many other routes that people can go, but we've just become so like I said, brainwash that the only way to be successful is going to college. But if you do, and you do choose to go to college, and you you know, you run through school and you and you get you know, you do your thing. You do have to pay your own bill. That's just it. Period. And if you want to, if you are so desperate into believing that the government will save you every time, you're very wrong and you will be set up to be disappointed for the rest of your life. Never depend on the government to handle your business. Period. Why would you want to Why would you want the government to have that over your head for the rest of You're like, oh, I guess what who paid you? Who paid you? And then you're gonna fall for every time when they let you down. Every single time, every single election season, you hear the same spiel, especially from Democrats, you hear the same spiel, well, you know, you know, universal healthcare or abortion in and oh, we'll pay your student debt. And nothing happens, nothing ever happens. And quite frankly, I'm glad, I'm glad. I'm glad that it does not happen because it continues, It continues to wake people up, slowly, but it still wakes people up. But I do feel bad for those that continue to fall for the narrative due to some politicians fake promises. They only care about power and power only. They only care about their agenda and agenda only. And you want to know why people keep bringing up all the pppee loans, You need to really look into what that actually is. And another thing these politicians are don't care about your money. They don't care about what you're making. If they care about do you need us, because oh guess what, we'll give you this, We'll give you this. Biden human angus, humongous tax Oh my gosh, I can't even explain. I can't even fat like, I can't even I can't even get to the point to where I need to break it down to explain how how our taxes have increased. And he wants to say Bidenomics, Oh, Bidenomics, we're gonna build from the middle, middle out, not from the top down. Excuse me? Does that? Does that? You know? Are you holding your son accountable for that as well? They guess he did some crazy stuff. It's just it's insane to me. It's insane to me that people continue to fall for that rhetoric and these gen's ears are so they so want change, and I think everybody wants to change, right, we all want change, we all want a better life, we all want a healthier earth. There's no doubt, doubt, there's no doubt that. But they the gen zars are so so manipulative that they believe it. And I understand because they're young and they need to learn it. But that's scary that they're praying on the younger generation, literally praying on our younger generation, and the school systems are failing them as well. They're not teaching them the outside part of everything. They're not teaching you know, they only have one They only have one lesson that they want to teach, and that's it. And it's sad. I really feel like millennials had the last chance to have that foundation of learning where we know to look outwards. I had a historian teacher. Okay, he was a legitimate historian and my senior year at high school and he was off grid, right. He didn't, let you know, no cable, no TV. His kids were like in the woods. It was insane and it was so I didn't I didn't understand it at the time, but the more I grew up and the more I have done my own research, I'm like, WHOA, I think his name was mister Harris. You literally taught me a valuable life lesson and for that I'm forever thankful. It could be wrong in his name. I have to I have to look, but I really do think it's mister Harris. But he totally off the grid, and he took us to like I think it was like our only field ship senior year, um where he was. I went to a trade school, and um, he took us to this place where it was in the woods and we saw like, you know, World War One memorabilia and World War Two, and it was it was freaking cool at that age. Though, I don't think we necessarily understand how critical and how important it is to know our history. We just you know, we're being shoved down these dates that we can't ever remember. But I continued my education in history, in history in my adult years. Actually, these last five years, I've just gone nose deep into learning my history because it is extremely true when they say history repeats yourself, like just think of it. Just think of it as like clothing trends. Everything comes back, right, There's always the cycle of oh, retro or you know what I'm saying. I know it's not the same as clothes, but in the same thought process of things coming back around, it's totally true. And to understand how we prevented the negative way of living, how we learned how to not do that. We can't let that be forgotten. We can't let wars be forgotten. We can't let slavery be forgotten. We can't let you know, fascism and socialism be forgotten. We can't let the Holocaust be forgotten. We can't let any of this to be forgotten. We can't let our following fathers be forgotten. We can't let the idea, the idea of what America is, to be forgotten. We can't remold a freedom of a country that is based strictly on freedom and you know, prosperity to become a socialist country. We can't allow that to happen or people, or we will fail as a society. People are running here, pouring through our borders for a better life, majority of them, some of them are taking advantage of this and committing heinous crimes on our citizens. But you have to think, if America is so bad, why are we why why are people pouring into our country and why people are seeking education in our country? But to rely on the government is what I'm getting. But to rely on the government to solve all problems will only cause more problems. We will no longer be free, we will no longer have the equal opportunities that we have. We will no longer have competition, which then creates you know, scientific breakthroughs or medicine, or thriving businesses or people who will be successful in this life because we're all said at the same amount. How equal. That doesn't sound like equal to me in theory sounds great in reality, it's not. And with that, I'm going to let you guys go. Thank you so much for joining my podcasts. I love the support for those that continue to share and continue to listen to my episodes. You are true rock stars and you are helping a girl's dream come true. And remember America is the best country. It has been the most successful country. And just remember we're all in this together. We all want the same thing. We all want we all want the same thing. And with that, I will see y'all next week. This has been a presentation of the FCB podcast Network, where Real Talk Lifts. Visit us online at FCB podcasts dot com.
