[00:00:41] I pray the Lord my soul today, that we won't go spade, then we won't go spade.

[00:00:46] All we got is us, no one can take that away.

[00:00:49] So don't go spade, it's gon' be okay.

[00:00:53] Welcome back everybody to another episode of Just Listen to Yourself with Kira Davis.

[00:00:56] I am your host Kira Davis and this is a podcast where we take hot topics, hot button issues,

[00:01:01] and we discuss the talking points on those topics, and we draw those talking points all the way out to their logical conclusion.

[00:01:08] And not only is America back everybody, but this show is back because there has not been a time made for a show like this than now.

[00:01:19] Not a better time.

[00:01:19] And this is what we do, right?

[00:01:23] We break things down.

[00:01:24] We break down logic.

[00:01:26] We break down talking points.

[00:01:27] And hoo boy, there's a lot of logic and talking points to be broken down after last week's historic victory.

[00:01:33] What an amazing time to be alive.

[00:01:37] We were nervous.

[00:01:38] We prayed.

[00:01:39] I've actually got an episode coming up.

[00:01:42] I'm going to actually break down everything that I think happened in this election.

[00:01:46] I'm going to tell you how Providence played a huge part in this and why I think there's something bigger at play here.

[00:01:54] Something really, really extraordinary.

[00:01:57] And it's probably, I think a lot of you will agree with me, but today we're just going to have some fun.

[00:02:02] We're not, today I just want to sift through some of these media meltdowns.

[00:02:07] And I just want to make a little bit of fun of people.

[00:02:11] Okay?

[00:02:12] And, but I couldn't believe it after Tuesday night.

[00:02:16] And in the next show, I'll explain to you how I was feeling.

[00:02:19] I don't want to waste too much time with my election night experience and how that went for me.

[00:02:25] As a matter of fact, why don't I do this?

[00:02:27] Why don't I invite you right now to not only subscribe to the show if you haven't done so before.

[00:02:32] That helps with the algorithm.

[00:02:33] But also write me.

[00:02:35] JLTY at ProtonMail.com.

[00:02:37] JLTY at ProtonMail.com.

[00:02:39] Or use hashtag JLTY on Twitter X.

[00:02:41] And follow me or tag me at RealKiraDavis and let me know a little bit about your election night experience and how it went for you.

[00:02:51] What was your process?

[00:02:52] What was the best part, the worst part?

[00:02:54] All of that.

[00:02:55] I'd love to hear that.

[00:02:56] And then maybe I can read some of your responses on the show next time.

[00:02:59] But as I was watching Tuesday night, and I couldn't believe how quickly stuff came in.

[00:03:05] I was really shocked.

[00:03:07] And I can't believe I'm saying I'm shocked.

[00:03:09] But I was shocked because I thought better of these people that the mainstream talking heads that lived through 2016 had learned nothing.

[00:03:17] Had learned nothing.

[00:03:20] I do want to do the TikToks meltdown stuff, but my goodness, there's so much good stuff out there.

[00:03:25] But it will be it's so much work for Darvio to do all that bleeping.

[00:03:29] I'm not sure if I can get away with it, but I'm going to I'm going to ask him.

[00:03:32] But just watching the mainstream media.

[00:03:36] Meltdown.

[00:03:38] What happened in 2016 was that the mainstream media found out that they weren't the only game in town and that they didn't know everything.

[00:03:47] What happened in 2024 on election night was that the mainstream media found out that they're completely irrelevant and the celebrity Hollywood class.

[00:03:57] Same thing.

[00:03:59] They're.

[00:04:00] They're.

[00:04:01] They're.

[00:04:02] Glitz and glamour and glitter there.

[00:04:04] I heard someone call it today.

[00:04:05] They're glitterati.

[00:04:06] A Democrat strategist called it the Democrat glitterati.

[00:04:12] Their influence only goes so far, and I think when we're in good times, it's it's easier for people to look at.

[00:04:20] A Beyonce or a Barack Obama up there and celebrate and have fun and be taken away by hope and change.

[00:04:28] But when things are bad, it's harder to get people on board with that.

[00:04:32] They don't want to boogie when they're broke.

[00:04:35] And too many of us were broke.

[00:04:37] Democrats just pushed it too hard, pushed too far.

[00:04:40] Again, we'll we'll break all that down and we've got some clips here.

[00:04:43] But.

[00:04:46] Regular America spoke up.

[00:04:50] And I think the message I'm going to take away from these clips and this analyzing we're about to do here.

[00:04:57] The lesson I'm going to take away from this.

[00:05:00] Is that.

[00:05:04] There is a complete and total and perhaps irreparable.

[00:05:10] Breakdown.

[00:05:11] Between the legacy.

[00:05:13] I'm no longer calling the mainstream.

[00:05:14] They're not mainstream anymore.

[00:05:15] We're mainstream.

[00:05:16] The legacy media and the average American person is nearly insurmountable.

[00:05:22] It is.

[00:05:22] It is a chasm.

[00:05:25] There is a complete disconnect.

[00:05:27] We have made all of these people wealthy and popular with the explosion of social media.

[00:05:35] That's happened on the right, too.

[00:05:36] But we're talking about left wingers now.

[00:05:39] You know, we've made these people like Don Lemon and the ladies of the view and pick your favorite liberal broadcaster.

[00:05:46] We've made them very wealthy.

[00:05:48] And we've made them very popular.

[00:05:50] And they've they've been able to take the online economy and use that to make more money aside from their big contracts.

[00:05:57] And they've been living very comfortable lives.

[00:06:01] And they've slowly over time shut themselves into those bubbles.

[00:06:05] A guy like Don Lemon may have been on the street doing reporting at one time, but he doesn't have to set foot on the street anymore if he doesn't want to.

[00:06:14] And he really doesn't.

[00:06:16] So it's like what happens to comedians.

[00:06:19] What's the Judd Apatow movie with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen is a funny people.

[00:06:25] And it's a it's a pretty good movie.

[00:06:28] It's it's got a slow second half, but it's a pretty good movie.

[00:06:33] But it really is about Adam Sandler playing some version of himself.

[00:06:38] But it's about a comedian, an intern who goes to work for this washed up comedian.

[00:06:43] He's the most famous comedian in the world, made millions of dollars, but he hasn't written his own joke in years.

[00:06:48] And he tells this young intern, well, what happens is what happens when you get everything you dreamt of.

[00:06:54] When all your dreams come true, you write based off the struggle, right?

[00:07:00] You write based off the experience and suddenly you're not having experiences anymore.

[00:07:04] You're not even cleaning your own house.

[00:07:05] You're not even doing your own laundry.

[00:07:07] There's no funny stories left to tell when you don't do anything for yourself.

[00:07:11] And that's what's happening with the Democrat media complex, the liberal media complex.

[00:07:15] They become so comfortable.

[00:07:17] They've moved into their apartment buildings in Manhattan's.

[00:07:19] They've got they're not they don't do the on on the street reporting anymore.

[00:07:23] So they don't have a direct line to the average news watcher.

[00:07:29] They they are comfortable.

[00:07:31] They they don't live real life anymore.

[00:07:34] They think they do because they talk on TV every night and sometimes they go places where people want to take pictures, but they don't live real life.

[00:07:44] And so they have no basis to have these discussions from.

[00:07:48] So I want you to keep that in mind as you're hearing some of these clips.

[00:07:53] And of course, as always, I do believe you have to look at all of this as projection.

[00:07:59] So anything that these talking particular I'm going to there's a few clips from entertainers late night hosts in here, but anything that these these news program talking heads say that's pure projection.

[00:08:11] So it's a lot more fun when you listen to them talk and you think about you reframe it as in while the person they're describing is actually themselves.

[00:08:22] And it really is true, because when you think that everyone or when you know that everyone around you is bad, when you look at somebody else, you must assume that everyone around them is bad, too.

[00:08:37] I think I've explained this. This is not my original thought, but I've stolen it and now it's mine.

[00:08:42] I think I've explained this why particularly far left women are so harsh with conservative men.

[00:08:52] And I think one of the even when they live in the world of Harvey Weinstein, right?

[00:08:57] And ironically, they don't even apologize for it.

[00:08:59] They live in the world of Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein, and yet they have all of these horrible things to say about Republican men who are living very conservative, modest lifestyles.

[00:09:10] It's because they're on the right side, right?

[00:09:13] According to them, they're on the right side.

[00:09:14] And this is what their men do on the right side.

[00:09:18] So if even their men are this bad, how much worse must the bad guys men be, right?

[00:09:24] That's this type of thinking.

[00:09:27] But as we go into this, I will say this, that there is a complete disconnect between the upper crust and the elite media in this country.

[00:09:36] And the average American voter Tuesday night showed it.

[00:09:39] Whether or not they can come back from this, I don't know.

[00:09:42] I think we're about to see a two economy America.

[00:09:45] I think that's the setup we're about to.

[00:09:48] It's already you were already starting to take our corners.

[00:09:52] I think this is just going to accelerate things.

[00:09:55] But let's get started.

[00:09:58] Let's see how some of the mainstream reacted.

[00:10:01] Fox News very helpfully made these clips for us.

[00:10:04] Thank you, Fox News.

[00:10:05] Thank you to everybody who did the hard work of putting these clips together.

[00:10:08] I know AI does a lot of it these days, but I don't even know how to use AI.

[00:10:11] So I appreciate it when someone else does.

[00:10:13] And next week, you're going to hear from a friend of mine, Justin Hart, who's actually taking advantage of this time.

[00:10:20] And he has started off a little AI news site that makes parody videos and writes articles and sort of harnessing the power of AI for good, if you will.

[00:10:33] So you're going to want to hear that interview with Justin Hart.

[00:10:36] That's out next week.

[00:10:36] But let's get to this first freak out.

[00:10:38] Here's Jimmy Kimmel, late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

[00:10:42] Well, I got some stuff to say.

[00:10:43] He's sad, y'all.

[00:10:46] Let's hear what he had to say.

[00:10:47] Let's be honest.

[00:10:48] It was a terrible night last night.

[00:10:50] It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hardworking immigrants who make this country go.

[00:10:59] For health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech.

[00:11:09] It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on Social Security, for our allies in Ukraine, for NATO.

[00:11:20] I can't do it anymore.

[00:11:22] It's everybody, I guess.

[00:11:24] He's just named everybody he could think of.

[00:11:27] It's like a little kid looking around and being like, or no, what was Kaiser Soce, the usual suspects, at the end when he finds out.

[00:11:37] He's just looking around the room, seeing words on signs and using them in his stories.

[00:11:42] It's like Jimmy Kimmel's just naming everything he can think of.

[00:11:44] This is a terrible night for everybody.

[00:11:45] He's crying.

[00:11:47] This is a grown man crying now.

[00:11:48] I don't mind people being emotional about things.

[00:11:51] I certainly was emotional in 2020.

[00:11:53] I'm not sure that I, I know I didn't cry in public.

[00:11:57] I'm not sure that I cried at all.

[00:11:59] I don't know.

[00:12:00] But for sure, not on a national program.

[00:12:05] Because regardless of what shenanigans I believed were going on, it was a national election.

[00:12:11] It was an election.

[00:12:12] And so there was, it was decided.

[00:12:15] And I had to figure out how to deal with that.

[00:12:17] Guys like Jimmy Kimmel, I guess, don't have to figure out how to deal with losses.

[00:12:23] Which surprises me because he has a, he says he has a child who has a, who has a heart condition, heart disease, and he's struggled with that.

[00:12:31] And so certainly he's got to be familiar with what it's like to struggle or not get your way, not get the things you want.

[00:12:39] But it's not been enough to mature Jimmy Kimmel, of course.

[00:12:42] But I think the problem with a guy like Jimmy Kimmel, because you got to look at what, where he came from.

[00:12:50] He came from the man show with Adam Carolla.

[00:12:53] There's plenty of video out there of him in blackface, grabbing girls' boobs, grabbing girls' butts.

[00:13:00] They used to have a, they used to close out the man show with just young women in bikini tops bouncing on trampolines.

[00:13:10] That was Jimmy Kimmel.

[00:13:12] Now he's the number one rated late night talk show host on television.

[00:13:18] Not sure what that metric is worth anymore, but he is.

[00:13:20] He's still a name we all recognize.

[00:13:23] I don't think that Jimmy Kimmel is that worried about fascism in America.

[00:13:29] I think he's doing his duty.

[00:13:31] I think he's bought and paid for.

[00:13:33] And I think he's emotional because him and his buddies aren't the tastemakers anymore.

[00:13:41] And that, you know, he named all of the, we're going to see this as we move on.

[00:13:45] He named all of these groups.

[00:13:47] It's bad for seniors.

[00:13:49] It's bad for people who need medical care.

[00:13:51] It's bad for kids.

[00:13:51] It's bad for your dog.

[00:13:53] It's bad for, you know, it's bad for the people who make your dog food.

[00:13:57] Like it's bad for everybody.

[00:13:59] He named all those people.

[00:14:00] And all of those groups include people who overwhelmingly voted for this.

[00:14:07] Who over what he's crying.

[00:14:11] For the people who voted against the thing he's saying is good for them.

[00:14:18] He's crying for them.

[00:14:20] And it's this type of condescension and disconnection that Americans voted against on Tuesday night.

[00:14:27] And frankly, I do believe we've been fixing to vote against it for a while.

[00:14:33] We weren't there in 2022.

[00:14:34] I know firsthand because I lost my battle in 2022.

[00:14:37] Oh, good news.

[00:14:39] I didn't even share this with you guys.

[00:14:40] My school board flipped this year.

[00:14:43] The school board I ran for and lost.

[00:14:45] It flipped.

[00:14:46] So that guy who beat me, he's out.

[00:14:49] He's gone because I was running in a special election.

[00:14:52] So the seat came back up.

[00:14:53] He's gone.

[00:14:55] The one conservative seat on the board was defended.

[00:14:59] And then the two other liberals who were up were also flipped.

[00:15:03] So the board flipped.

[00:15:05] It's a new day in our district in January.

[00:15:08] I had nothing to do with it.

[00:15:09] I actually sat out this election cycle for the school board team.

[00:15:15] I chose not to participate because this is my daughter's senior year.

[00:15:19] And we had such a terrible time in 2022.

[00:15:22] I was a little bit scared.

[00:15:23] And the unions were kind of kicking up some smoke because they were worried about me getting back in.

[00:15:28] So I just sat it out and that made some people mad at me.

[00:15:32] But I'm 50 now, so I don't care.

[00:15:34] Like, I don't owe anybody any explanations for anything I do anymore.

[00:15:37] And I finally realized that.

[00:15:39] But I'm still very, even though I had nothing to do with it, I am very, except my vote.

[00:15:44] I'm very happy that our school board flipped.

[00:15:47] So thank you to everybody who's praying and supporting our school board.

[00:15:51] And it happened, just not in the time I hoped.

[00:15:53] So I don't think it was 2022 that we had had it.

[00:15:56] But, you know, I was talking to my father-in-law and he was, we were, he was reading, quoting out of the book of Joshua.

[00:16:06] And, you know, he, I can't even remember the scripture now.

[00:16:08] I'm not the pastor.

[00:16:09] But he said, you know, there are times when the Lord gives us over to our desires.

[00:16:17] And I had thought perhaps that was about to happen again on election night.

[00:16:24] Because it was clear to me that that was exactly what had happened to us in 2020.

[00:16:28] We had been given over to our desires.

[00:16:32] And the four years of living under that consequence, I was proved to be too much for America.

[00:16:39] I wasn't sure we were there yet, but we were.

[00:16:43] And I've said often on this show, and I feel very good to be able to say it and defend it now.

[00:16:48] I have always believed that in the end, Americans will have their say and have their way.

[00:16:54] And I told you guys this.

[00:16:56] I believed that we would, that the American psyche would correct itself.

[00:17:01] Would there be a market correction after 2020?

[00:17:03] I believed it.

[00:17:05] I just wasn't sure if we were going to get it in 2024.

[00:17:08] And we did.

[00:17:09] So anyways, it's pathetic that Jimmy is so, being so pathetic.

[00:17:15] Unsurprising.

[00:17:15] But again, this is just, those tears are not for you, America.

[00:17:19] Because you voted very clearly for the things he didn't want.

[00:17:25] He's crying for you because you don't know what's good for you.

[00:17:28] Or, which is terrible.

[00:17:30] Or he's just crying because what he really knows is that he and his class, the celebrity elite class, the media elite class, are irrelevant now.

[00:17:44] They've been rendered irrelevant.

[00:17:45] We're no longer getting our opinions from them.

[00:17:53] FCB Faith is your rhythm and praise station.

[00:17:56] I listen.

[00:17:57] My mom listens.

[00:17:58] Pretty much the whole family.

[00:18:57] All right.

[00:19:01] Let's go on to John Dickerson from CBS News.

[00:19:05] This is apparently a serious person.

[00:19:07] And he was on Stephen Colbert, a not serious person.

[00:19:12] Which is fine, by the way.

[00:19:15] Love that Colbert's a comedian.

[00:19:17] Wish he would just be a comedian.

[00:19:20] But he's on another late night show that has almost zero relevance, except for the hate watches at this point.

[00:19:30] Is anyone watching Colbert for any other reason than just to clip up his nonsense?

[00:19:36] At this point, that's what is fueling, I believe, left-wing television media.

[00:19:41] Here's John Dickerson talking about what happened on Tuesday night.

[00:19:48] May he rest in peace.

[00:19:52] How would you explain that to a 14-year-old today?

[00:19:55] How would you explain this election?

[00:19:56] I'll try not to think about my boys.

[00:19:59] Yes.

[00:20:03] I think you would say that amazing things have been done through the American political system.

[00:20:10] People have been given freedoms that they were denied and glorious opportunities in this country that you can't get anywhere else.

[00:20:17] And then awful things have happened in the American system.

[00:20:22] And you have to fight to make sure that you're doing the good part and not the bad part.

[00:20:27] They can get on basically one of two buses that are going to take them to a destination they think is meaningful.

[00:20:33] And you get on the bus and there are a whole bunch of the people on the bus who just want to be seen and have opportunity in American life.

[00:20:40] And then there are other people on the bus engaged in the same journey who are there absolutely just for themselves to get power,

[00:20:47] to give themselves just more riches and more control over things.

[00:20:54] Okay, thank you, John Dickerson.

[00:20:57] Real broken up for his boys, his 14-year-old boys.

[00:21:00] How do you explain the election to your 14-year-old child?

[00:21:03] I don't know.

[00:21:04] You explain to them how voting works?

[00:21:08] A bunch of people went to vote and one person won.

[00:21:15] The idea that there's something extra to explain to our children about voting and why it's important,

[00:21:26] there's nothing extra there, John.

[00:21:28] It doesn't matter who wins.

[00:21:29] Voting is important.

[00:21:30] Now, you can, you can, you have your opinions.

[00:21:32] And if you want to hoist those upon your own children, that's fine.

[00:21:36] I literally work in punitry and I do not.

[00:21:39] My kids know where I stand, right?

[00:21:40] And I definitely yell at them about what I believe because that's my personality.

[00:21:45] But in our house, it's always encouraged you, you think for yourself.

[00:21:49] So if they have differing opinions, we, we, we, we dig through those.

[00:21:52] I ask questions.

[00:21:54] The, the mantra on my house is you don't have to think like me.

[00:21:58] You don't have to believe like me.

[00:22:00] I only expect you to be an intellectually curious person.

[00:22:04] And if you're intellectually curious, then I believe that you, you know, you can defend

[00:22:09] any, any idea and I'll always have respect for it.

[00:22:13] That's the conversation you have with your kids, John.

[00:22:16] But here again, I want you to think about, again, I see you think about this as projection.

[00:22:20] He, or he's saying some people are just in it for themselves, right?

[00:22:23] That's him, right?

[00:22:25] What he doesn't understand.

[00:22:26] And he's the person on the bus on that journey with the rest of us who's just in it for himself.

[00:22:32] He's the person that looks at that black mother like me or that Latino dad in, in the hood.

[00:22:38] Who's saying, gee, my schools are failing.

[00:22:41] I wish I could have a choice of where my kid goes to school.

[00:22:43] Why can't this money just follow my kid instead of keeping him trapped in this failing public school?

[00:22:48] Right?

[00:22:49] Guys like John look at that parent, parents like us and go and tell us that we're in it for, for ourselves.

[00:22:57] While he sends his kid to private school and he says, oh, well, you're just a racist and a bigot if you, if you prefer school choice.

[00:23:06] If you think that it should be your job as a parent to decide which school is best for your child using your tax dollars.

[00:23:14] You do have a choice.

[00:23:16] You have a choice of public schools.

[00:23:17] I, you know, yes, I do have a choice as well.

[00:23:20] But money gives me my choice.

[00:23:23] That's what he's saying.

[00:23:24] He's looking at parents like us and saying, we're the ones who are only thinking of ourselves.

[00:23:29] But he's only thinking of himself because really he doesn't want our kids in his school.

[00:23:34] He doesn't want to live next to me.

[00:23:36] He doesn't want that hardworking baker in Colorado who just wants to bake cakes and doesn't want to have to be forced to say certain things on cakes.

[00:23:47] He doesn't want that guy thriving.

[00:23:49] If that guy doesn't hold his opinions or come to the right cocktail parties, that's who John Dickerson is.

[00:23:57] So he can sit there and he can cry about his boys, his boys.

[00:24:00] But if I bet if we met his boys, they would be extremely privileged.

[00:24:03] We would see that they lived in extremely privileged and comfortable lifestyle and don't come up against anybody in the lower class ever, except for the people who are serving them.

[00:24:15] And that if they talked to those people, they would have a note.

[00:24:18] They would be shocked to see those people don't think the John Dickerson's of the world are even riding the same bus as them.

[00:24:25] Right.

[00:24:26] And we don't even want y'all to ride the same bus as us.

[00:24:29] That's fine.

[00:24:30] I think we are on different journeys.

[00:24:32] I think the America John Dickerson wants to get to is a lot different than the America.

[00:24:37] I think I live in and want to continue journeying towards.

[00:24:47] If I don't even think we're on the same bus.

[00:24:49] So if he wants to be in that bus, that's fine.

[00:24:51] What I'm what what we're saying, what the voters like us are saying is just don't tell us what kind of gas we got to put in our bus.

[00:24:58] That's all.

[00:24:59] If you think you can get to the place we all want to go in your electric bus.

[00:25:04] Great.

[00:25:05] Get in that bus.

[00:25:05] Let's have a race and see who gets there first.

[00:25:10] But again, these are crocodile tears.

[00:25:12] These aren't tears for you and me.

[00:25:14] These are tears that his influence has been diluted.

[00:25:18] That's what they're sad about.

[00:25:20] All right.

[00:25:21] Let's go to MSNBC.

[00:25:22] Stephanie Rule.

[00:25:23] Man, I've been watching her nonstop for the last four days.

[00:25:26] She is on a tear.

[00:25:28] She's angry at you, America.

[00:25:31] She's angry.

[00:25:32] Now, she I wouldn't even.

[00:25:35] I can.

[00:25:36] Let's think about who she is before she starts talking to you, because this is who they tell us.

[00:25:42] We're supposed this is how they tell us.

[00:25:43] We're supposed to think about Trump.

[00:25:44] They're always like, why are you?

[00:25:46] Why do you like Trump?

[00:25:47] He's rich.

[00:25:47] He's a billionaire.

[00:25:48] He's an elitist.

[00:25:49] OK, so Stephanie Rule.

[00:25:51] I don't know where she lives, but I guarantee you she doesn't live in the hood.

[00:25:54] Right.

[00:25:54] I guarantee you she doesn't live in Gary, Indiana.

[00:25:56] Right.

[00:25:56] She lives in New York, probably because she works in New York.

[00:25:59] So she lives in New York or New Jersey.

[00:26:02] She lives.

[00:26:03] I'm going to bet in a building with a doorman or a home in a gated community, a single family

[00:26:08] home.

[00:26:09] I'm going to bet that she either has a driver or she or she drives a luxury car into work

[00:26:15] every day.

[00:26:15] That could be wrong.

[00:26:16] Lots of people take the subway in New York.

[00:26:18] That could be wrong.

[00:26:19] But I'm also going to bet that her children or the children of the people around her.

[00:26:26] I don't even know if she's a mom are all educated privately, are all members of country

[00:26:32] clubs.

[00:26:33] She is the country club class.

[00:26:36] She is.

[00:26:37] And I don't know how she would possibly deny it.

[00:26:41] And again, that is fine.

[00:26:44] We don't mind.

[00:26:45] We it takes all kinds of people in this world.

[00:26:48] Your position, Stephanie, is aspirational.

[00:26:51] People like you are important because people like you, we look to and say, I want to be

[00:26:54] there, too.

[00:26:55] I want to I want to have a fancy job at a fancy studio and and make lots of money just

[00:26:59] talking to people every day.

[00:27:00] You know, it's aspirational.

[00:27:02] We don't mind.

[00:27:03] But what we do mind is when you look down on us, when we maybe deviate from what you

[00:27:07] think is best, when you're nowhere near.

[00:27:13] Are breathing the same air as we are here, Stephanie rule from the 11th hour.

[00:27:18] We have now let misinformation become the accepted information.

[00:27:23] It is washed over us.

[00:27:25] Elon Musk.

[00:27:26] He buys Twitter and then he uses it almost exclusively to be a propaganda machine.

[00:27:31] And we've accepted it.

[00:27:33] We've accepted a narrative that despite an actually great economic recovery, the vibes

[00:27:39] don't feel good.

[00:27:39] So we want to reject it and get something else.

[00:27:42] And the person we are now betting on to change all of it is Donald Trump, a man who did two

[00:27:51] almost impossible things.

[00:27:53] He won the American presidency twice and he drove a casino into the ground.

[00:27:59] What will the future hold now that America has just decided that we're going to F around

[00:28:06] and find out?

[00:28:11] They don't get it.

[00:28:14] They don't get it.

[00:28:18] It's astounding that this guy who survived two assassination attempts in just the last

[00:28:22] six months alone, her description of him is this guy who's only done two impossible things,

[00:28:28] win the presidency twice and drive a casino into the ground.

[00:28:33] I don't know.

[00:28:34] I don't think the Trump casinos, woes are I think those are the last thing anyone thinks

[00:28:40] about when they think about Trump or his successes or failures.

[00:28:44] It's so bizarre.

[00:28:45] It's so bizarre.

[00:28:47] Even to hear her from the top say, despite a recovering economy, people voted against it

[00:28:53] because the vibes just weren't right.

[00:28:59] Do you hear that?

[00:29:00] That she just described you, America?

[00:29:03] It's just not getting the vibe.

[00:29:04] You just didn't have the right vibe.

[00:29:07] The vibes are there.

[00:29:09] There is no better example of how disconnected these people are from the average American

[00:29:15] experience.

[00:29:17] Take a walk through downtown L.A., Stephanie, anywhere.

[00:29:21] I don't care where I would tell you Skid Row, but Skid Row is everywhere now.

[00:29:25] Pick Beverly Hills.

[00:29:27] Pick a place.

[00:29:29] And tell me about the vibes people are experiencing.

[00:29:33] Go to El Paso and tell me if those people just aren't getting the vibe.

[00:29:39] It's they see hundreds of thousands of people in their city who are defecating on the streets,

[00:29:44] have no food, no water, no jobs, no place to go, and no one to send them back across the

[00:29:49] border to their own homes.

[00:29:51] It's the good people of El Paso that are helping, that are helping these people and dealing with

[00:29:56] these people and dealing with the economic disaster that it has brought to their already

[00:30:01] struggling community.

[00:30:02] You go down there, Stephanie, and you tell those people, oh, it's just a vibe.

[00:30:05] Y'all didn't get the vibe.

[00:30:08] You look a black man in the face who is trying to support his family, watching his income,

[00:30:15] the margins decrease and decrease, and now he's down to zero disposable income.

[00:30:19] So going to the movies with his kids or paying for that field trip for school for his kids

[00:30:24] out the window.

[00:30:26] And these are all, and he knows it's because of Democrat policies.

[00:30:30] That's what he believes.

[00:30:32] You look that man in the face and you tell them all, you got pain you're feeling.

[00:30:35] Well, that's just bad vibes.

[00:30:36] You just, you're not on the right vibe.

[00:30:38] The vibes aren't right.

[00:30:40] See, this is what, this is why they lost.

[00:30:42] This is why they lost.

[00:30:45] Yeah, a lot of it had to do with who Donald Trump is, but a lot of it had to do with who

[00:30:49] they are.

[00:30:51] They lost because they think that the pain Americans feel is a vibe.

[00:30:55] And that's what they think about happiness too.

[00:30:57] Joy.

[00:30:59] A vibe.

[00:31:00] That joy vibe, that dried up real quick, right?

[00:31:02] Because it was just a vibe.

[00:31:04] It wasn't real.

[00:31:05] It wasn't a real sentiment.

[00:31:07] That's what the Democrats are selling you, America.

[00:31:10] Vibes.

[00:31:10] And America rejected it.

[00:31:12] And Stephanie is just, she can't believe her frigging mind that Americans didn't vote for

[00:31:17] a vibe.

[00:31:19] The vibes are not good, girl.

[00:31:23] We voted for a new vibe.

[00:31:25] You need to get with it.

[00:31:26] But that's what we voted against, a vibe.

[00:31:29] In their mind, that's the American, that's what matters to American vote.

[00:31:37] The Americans the most, a vibe.

[00:31:42] All right, let's go on to The View.

[00:31:45] They had their highest rated show the next day after election day.

[00:31:49] And I thought it was so funny that the ABC social media interns, you know, they were trolling

[00:31:55] a little bit.

[00:31:55] They went on The View, the highest rated show this week.

[00:32:00] And of course, they know that it's all just hate watching.

[00:32:03] And you know what?

[00:32:04] This ecosystem is working for us.

[00:32:07] At this point, no one genuine is watching The View.

[00:32:10] This is a hate watch show, period.

[00:32:13] The only reason the show is still on is because, well, I think right now it's a tourist trap.

[00:32:20] So it's a New York City tourist trap.

[00:32:21] You go to New York City, you go see a taping of The View.

[00:32:26] So it operates as a tourist attraction in New York City.

[00:32:32] And then it just provides clips for the rest of us media at this point.

[00:32:36] We've got a little ecosystem going here.

[00:32:39] It's a symbiotic relationship.

[00:32:40] I don't hate it.

[00:32:42] But The View hates you.

[00:32:44] My takeaway is that the system works.

[00:32:47] We live in a democracy.

[00:32:49] People spoke.

[00:32:51] This is what people wanted.

[00:32:53] I vehemently disagree with the decision that Americans made.

[00:32:56] But I feel very, very hopeful that we have a democratic system in this country.

[00:33:01] We should value it.

[00:33:02] We should love it.

[00:33:04] We should protest if the situation arises that we need to protest, which I'm sure it will.

[00:33:10] I'm profoundly disturbed.

[00:33:12] I think if you look at The New York Times this morning, the headline was America makes a perilous choice.

[00:33:19] I think that in 2016 we didn't know what we would get from a Trump administration.

[00:33:25] But we know now.

[00:33:27] And we know now that he will have almost unfettered power.

[00:33:31] And so I'll stop it right there.

[00:33:34] I'm going to continue.

[00:33:35] But I just want to say, yeah, Sonny.

[00:33:38] That was Sonny Hostin.

[00:33:39] Hostin, whatever.

[00:33:41] She's been on a real tear.

[00:33:43] Yeah, we know now.

[00:33:44] And I think that's what people were responding to.

[00:33:46] So we had Trump in 2016.

[00:33:49] The grass seemed greener.

[00:33:52] Lots of other stuff going on.

[00:33:53] I really do.

[00:33:54] The longer this goes on, the more I'm sure 2020 was stolen.

[00:33:57] But regardless, it was what it was.

[00:33:59] So in 2020 we went in another direction.

[00:34:01] But we have four years.

[00:34:03] So it's not just Sonny that we know what Donald Trump will do and can do and what kind of president he'll be.

[00:34:10] Now we know what the Democrats in charge will do and can do.

[00:34:13] In fact, we know.

[00:34:15] We couldn't even pretend like we wouldn't know what the Democrat candidate would do.

[00:34:19] Because thanks to Biden, we got Kamala Harris, who's been in the White House for four years.

[00:34:24] So unfortunately for her and for y'all, we knew what a Democrat administration would do.

[00:34:30] We've seen it and we've been living with it and we remembered.

[00:34:33] And we didn't like y'all.

[00:34:35] We didn't like your vibe.

[00:34:38] So we voted against that vibe.

[00:34:40] So yeah, I think Sonny is inadvertently making the point, which is, yeah, Americans remember what life was like under Trump in 2016.

[00:34:49] And as it turns out, it really wasn't that bad.

[00:34:52] And we remember now.

[00:34:54] And if you guys hadn't just pushed so hard and been so crazy, I think you could have gotten away with memory holing the greatness that was the first Trump administration.

[00:35:04] I really think you could have gotten away with memory holing that economy and just really attaching his presidency to that last six months of 2020 or whatever.

[00:35:14] I think you could have gotten away with that.

[00:35:17] But they never learn.

[00:35:21] Worry not about myself, actually.

[00:35:23] I don't worry about my station in life.

[00:35:25] I worry about the working class.

[00:35:27] Oh, yeah.

[00:35:27] Oh, let me just stop here.

[00:35:29] Yeah, this is their always.

[00:35:31] This is the other thing you hear.

[00:35:32] This is going to be this is the same thing we heard in 2016.

[00:35:36] If you ask this is a fun question, too.

[00:35:39] If you're having a conversation, if you have any liberal friends that are letting you have conversations with them right now, if you're having a conversation with them, I would highly advise you not to do any persuading and just ask questions and just act like you're interested and just genuinely hearing the answer.

[00:35:55] You're probably not going to tell that person anything they want to hear right now.

[00:35:59] But I do think the question to ask is, what are you most frightened of?

[00:36:04] And try not to be condescending when you ask it.

[00:36:07] Don't be like, what are you scared about?

[00:36:09] When I in 2016, I went to the Women's March in San Francisco.

[00:36:14] And I.

[00:36:16] That was right after the election.

[00:36:18] And I asked the number one question I asked women and I was a black woman walking around.

[00:36:24] So no one had any suspicions of me.

[00:36:26] What are you most afraid of in this Trump presidency?

[00:36:30] And to a person, the answer was, you know, I don't really know.

[00:36:34] I just I'm scared of everything.

[00:36:35] I just I'm scared of what could happen.

[00:36:37] And really, if you ask that question, because this time around, you'll get either, you know, I don't really know or.

[00:36:45] Almost to a person, you will get, you know, I'm not really scared for myself.

[00:36:49] I'm really just thinking about those other people who the working class like the working class voted for this.

[00:36:56] Right.

[00:36:56] The working class voted against your help.

[00:37:01] They don't know what they're scared of is them losing influence over the working class.

[00:37:06] That's what they're scared of.

[00:37:08] That you don't listen to them anymore.

[00:37:11] Higher teacher.

[00:37:12] I worry about our elderly and their Social Security and their Medicare.

[00:37:16] I worry about my children's future, especially my daughter, who now has less rights than I have.

[00:37:22] You feel what you feel.

[00:37:23] Everyone has different emotions.

[00:37:24] Some people got what they wanted.

[00:37:26] A lot of people didn't.

[00:37:27] And you feel anything that comes up.

[00:37:29] And then you turn around and you say, let's look at the tapes.

[00:37:32] Let's see what we did.

[00:37:33] Let's see how we continue to fight for the people that we care about.

[00:37:36] And you take one step in front of the other.

[00:37:39] And so here we are today.

[00:37:40] And I still feel that optimistic because I feel arm in arm with so many people who agree with me.

[00:37:47] And I'm not going to stop marching.

[00:37:49] Tens of millions of Americans, our friends, our neighbors, our family members voted for Donald Trump.

[00:37:54] We disagree with him.

[00:37:55] I know we all do at this table.

[00:37:57] But they are good, decent people who are patriots and love this country.

[00:38:01] And you can always say, oh, she should have done this.

[00:38:03] She should have done this.

[00:38:04] She said she did what she did.

[00:38:06] She was everywhere.

[00:38:06] She talked to everybody.

[00:38:08] And people didn't come out.

[00:38:09] I don't know why.

[00:38:10] And it doesn't even matter.

[00:38:12] He's now the president.

[00:38:13] I'm still not going to say his name.

[00:38:15] It is a moment to listen to the voters.

[00:38:17] And this, I have to say, I've always thought he could win.

[00:38:19] I thought in the final stretch she might eke it out.

[00:38:21] I didn't expect it to be this resounding.

[00:38:24] And I think there are some lessons from it.

[00:38:26] I think we forget about rural America.

[00:38:28] I think the working class feels left behind.

[00:38:31] They feel like the powerful, the elite only care about them and their power.

[00:38:35] And he spoke to them.

[00:38:36] We may not have liked his words, but they turned out for him.

[00:38:41] Yeah, they, that they, okay.

[00:38:44] So ending with that.

[00:38:45] Yeah, they turned out for him.

[00:38:46] Whoopi saying, where else could she?

[00:38:49] This is, again, the disconnect is shocking.

[00:38:52] It's truly shocking.

[00:38:54] The day after the election, how many people did you hear say the word flawless in reference

[00:38:59] to Kamala's campaign?

[00:39:01] She ran a flawless campaign.

[00:39:03] She ran a flaw.

[00:39:04] It was flawless.

[00:39:04] She ran a flawless campaign.

[00:39:06] It was flawless.

[00:39:07] Really?

[00:39:08] Really?

[00:39:09] It was, it was stumble and fall from the start.

[00:39:16] Whoopi said she went everywhere.

[00:39:18] She did everything.

[00:39:19] Again, so disconnected.

[00:39:20] Whoopi doesn't know if Kamala went everywhere and did everything.

[00:39:24] All Whoopi knows is that she saw Kamala.

[00:39:26] She saw clips of Kamala at certain events.

[00:39:30] But those weren't, you know, half the things she saw her at weren't rallies.

[00:39:33] They were just campaign events with union friendly, you know, people.

[00:39:38] Maybe she's going to a union luncheon or something.

[00:39:40] But, you know, she went everywhere.

[00:39:43] She did everything.

[00:39:43] She didn't do everything.

[00:39:45] When people were asking her for a plan, it took her 30 days to put a plan on her website

[00:39:50] when she was running for president.

[00:39:51] And she only had 107 days to pull off a national campaign.

[00:39:56] It took her 30 days to put a platform on her website.

[00:40:00] She picked a guy from Minnesota who was weird, who nobody knew, and turns out nobody really

[00:40:05] liked.

[00:40:06] He just was too weird.

[00:40:08] They, she refused to do the media that was going to get her in front of the average voter.

[00:40:17] The turning down, how can you say turning down Joe Rogan was a mistake?

[00:40:22] I, we have heard since then that it was her staff that told her don't do Joe Rogan because

[00:40:27] they, she had a Gen Z staff and they're still all butthurt over the Spotify Rogan libertarian

[00:40:33] stuff, right?

[00:40:34] They're mad at Rogan because he left a reservation and they've been mad at him ever since, even

[00:40:38] though he's only gotten more popular.

[00:40:41] She listened to a bunch of kids who have never paid a fricking bill in their lives.

[00:40:47] They're interns.

[00:40:48] They still don't pay their own bills.

[00:40:49] They can't.

[00:40:50] Mom and dad have to support them until they can get a real job on the Hill.

[00:40:53] So they still don't pay bills.

[00:40:55] She let those idiots tell her not to go in the most listened to show in the world.

[00:41:04] In the world.

[00:41:08] No, whoopie, that is not, that is not a perfect campaign.

[00:41:12] That is not a flawless campaign there.

[00:41:15] She did not do everything she needed to do.

[00:41:17] She, in fact, she hardly did anything she needed to do.

[00:41:23] She hardly did anything.

[00:41:25] So the, the delusion is real.

[00:41:28] Um, but I think when you hear whoopie say, if you break down the structure of that sentence,

[00:41:34] but she says there's nothing else she could have done.

[00:41:36] She did everything she needed to do.

[00:41:39] She, she went everywhere.

[00:41:40] She did things right.

[00:41:41] She threw away that second half.

[00:41:43] She went everywhere.

[00:41:44] She did the stuff.

[00:41:45] She threw away that second half.

[00:41:46] That's how you know when somebody like trails off.

[00:41:49] And I think they call that diminishing facts.

[00:41:52] Someone trails off in a sentence.

[00:41:53] It's like, you know, like whatever.

[00:41:55] That is diminishing facts.

[00:41:57] That means that person doesn't really believe the thing they've just said.

[00:42:01] And they know you're not going to believe it either.

[00:42:02] So they just let it trail off and hopefully it just dissipates into the ether.

[00:42:07] So she didn't even believe that.

[00:42:09] When she says there's nothing else she could have done, her campaign was perfect.

[00:42:14] What she means is.

[00:42:17] All she had to do was be a woman of color.

[00:42:20] That's it.

[00:42:21] That's what what be Goldberg meant.

[00:42:22] She was a woman of color.

[00:42:24] She did everything she had to do.

[00:42:26] And America still didn't want to vote for her.

[00:42:28] I mean, these people, they don't get it.

[00:42:30] They're not going to get it.

[00:42:31] There's no way what be Goldberg is going to get it.

[00:42:33] She described herself as working class the other day.

[00:42:36] I believe she's broke for sure.

[00:42:40] Cause I don't think she wants to be working.

[00:42:42] I don't think she likes doing the view.

[00:42:43] She doesn't want to do film anymore.

[00:42:45] She doesn't seem to want to do stand up comedy anymore, but I think this is the easiest

[00:42:49] gig for her and I don't blame her.

[00:42:51] Good on you girl.

[00:42:52] It's good money if you can make it.

[00:42:54] But I think it's a sign that she's been grossly irresponsible with her money because she's had

[00:43:00] a very lucrative and successful career.

[00:43:03] And so that's what makes her feel like she's working class.

[00:43:07] But I'm, I don't think so will be, I'm afraid you left that designation a long, long time

[00:43:12] ago.

[00:43:14] And, um, you know, that's the downside of fame.

[00:43:17] You really don't get to claim that, um, status anymore.

[00:43:22] That's why I think the people who are most successful in the business, well, not the most,

[00:43:26] but a lot of the successful people are people or sane people are people who have left and

[00:43:31] the industry and come back moved to regular America.

[00:43:34] Like Dave Chappelle lived in Ohio for a decade with his family.

[00:43:43] Oh, Claire McCaskill.

[00:43:44] Let's get Claire McCaskill.

[00:43:46] Democrat, former Democrat Senator and now MSNBC analyst, Claire McCaskill.

[00:43:52] Uh, by the way, just a little word on the choice of peak at Fox News house, peaks at

[00:43:57] head set for sec def.

[00:44:00] Everyone freaking out over the fact that it's a Fox News house being nominated for this position.

[00:44:04] Uh, I'm not sure what is it just the order that you do this in everyone on MSNBC is a

[00:44:10] former white house official or former Capitol Hill official, everyone.

[00:44:14] Uh, so I guess you're not allowed to go.

[00:44:17] You're not allowed to work on cable news before you go to government just after because somehow

[00:44:23] that's more ethical after you've gone in and gotten all your connections and yeah.

[00:44:28] Okay.

[00:44:29] Here's Claire McCaskill.

[00:44:30] She's sad.

[00:44:32] Okay.

[00:44:33] I think I'm okay.

[00:44:35] Tell me what you're thinking.

[00:44:37] Well, I'm so proud.

[00:44:38] Uh, I'm so proud of her.

[00:44:42] Um, I don't think people realize how hard it is to get to where she was.

[00:44:48] Um, for her to be selected as vice president after what I think she would tell you was a

[00:44:56] very disappointing presidential race where I think she kind of lost her footing and was

[00:45:01] listening too much to consultants, frankly, and wasn't, it didn't really exude who she was.

[00:45:09] And then to be vice president and to step into the most difficult situation in the world where

[00:45:18] she had to be completely loyal to Joe Biden and respectful of the fact that he had chosen her,

[00:45:24] but yet maneuver in a situation.

[00:45:27] I mean, such political skill.

[00:45:29] It is just inspiring people who don't understand what she had to do to get to this moment.

[00:45:40] I think, I think a lot of us understand very well what she had to do to get to this moment.

[00:45:50] And, uh, none of it was pretty.

[00:45:53] None of it was pretty.

[00:45:55] Uh, two words for you, Claire.

[00:45:56] Willie Brown.

[00:45:57] It's not a secret and it comes from the Democrats, not us.

[00:46:02] It's not our side.

[00:46:04] Uh, Claire is obviously as delusional as everyone else.

[00:46:08] She said, Camilla folded in Iowa because she was listening to consultants.

[00:46:12] She didn't even before Iowa, she folded.

[00:46:16] She did Claire stop.

[00:46:17] She didn't even crack 2%.

[00:46:19] Stop.

[00:46:19] Stop.

[00:46:20] It wasn't because she was listening to the consultants.

[00:46:22] It's because she's a California politician.

[00:46:23] And in California, our politicians there, they are not honed.

[00:46:27] There is nothing to hone them.

[00:46:28] There is nothing to sharpen them.

[00:46:30] They are not sharp creatures.

[00:46:32] They are swamp creatures.

[00:46:34] The worst kind of swamp.

[00:46:36] This is sunny swamp.

[00:46:38] It's got a lot of glitter floating at the top.

[00:46:40] Look, it's on a set.

[00:46:41] It's on a movie set.

[00:46:43] The California swamp is beautiful.

[00:46:45] It's glamorous.

[00:46:46] And it comes with all kinds of celebrity friends and endorsements.

[00:46:50] But there is nothing to sharpen you.

[00:46:53] There's nothing to hone you.

[00:46:54] This is a super majority Democrat state.

[00:46:56] There's no opposing Republicans, basically.

[00:46:59] There's no media.

[00:47:01] The media is state run here.

[00:47:03] So the media is access media.

[00:47:05] That means they do not press our political candidates because they want to get the invites

[00:47:10] to the parties.

[00:47:11] They want to get the invites to the next debate, the next political event.

[00:47:15] You can't get those in, but they will.

[00:47:17] They will freeze you out.

[00:47:19] Democrat politicians will freeze you out in this state as media if you don't play nice.

[00:47:24] So they never have to be sharpened by difficult questions from the media.

[00:47:29] They don't do debates.

[00:47:31] Rarely do they even do debates for the people.

[00:47:36] It takes a lot of effort for a Republican candidate to get a debate with a Democrat candidate.

[00:47:43] Even when I challenged my Democrat challenger in my school board race to a debate, it shouldn't

[00:47:49] surprise you that he, of course, turned it down.

[00:47:52] He felt the debate would be too biased and we wouldn't be able to find any moderate moderators.

[00:48:02] Yeah, it's just they don't get it, I guess.

[00:48:08] It's all of it in the end.

[00:48:11] They don't get it.

[00:48:13] They think women like Kamala are the smartest tools in the shed, but women like Kamala who

[00:48:17] come from California, they're the dumbest politicians.

[00:48:21] She's not intelligent.

[00:48:22] She's not smart.

[00:48:23] Maybe she could be.

[00:48:24] I don't know.

[00:48:26] But I will guarantee you she's never been given that opportunity.

[00:48:29] There's absolutely no pushback.

[00:48:31] You remember that little, I think this is a very illuminating quote.

[00:48:34] Remember that little quote of her saying, hey, I have a pen.

[00:48:37] I work in the AG's office and I have this pen and with the stroke of my pen, I realized

[00:48:41] I can put someone in jail for 10 years and change their whole family, change their whole

[00:48:45] life.

[00:48:46] Like.

[00:48:48] That's the kind of power that you have when you get into elected office here and there's

[00:48:52] no one to challenge it.

[00:48:55] So she's not sharp.

[00:48:56] And I think if Gavin Newsom's got a lot, I am worried about him because he's very slick,

[00:49:02] but Gavin Newsom's got a lot of work to do if he's going to be a contender for 28 because

[00:49:07] he's not sharp either.

[00:49:09] He's not sharp either.

[00:49:10] The only thing he has working for him is his wife's a Republican.

[00:49:15] Yeah, I've said it on this show before.

[00:49:17] We're finally confirming this.

[00:49:19] This has come out in the mainstream this week.

[00:49:21] But yeah, his wife's a Republican.

[00:49:23] Her family are Republican donors from Montana.

[00:49:25] They're very wealthy.

[00:49:26] I have told you this, that I have that I know people who know Gavin Newsom and he is

[00:49:31] not a liberal.

[00:49:32] I have told you this.

[00:49:34] He's just.

[00:49:36] A greedy, selfish man.

[00:49:39] He's thrown his law.

[00:49:40] He's just part of the uniparty.

[00:49:42] He's a uniparty guy, right?

[00:49:44] Like the Bushes, whatever, like a uniparty guy.

[00:49:46] That's who he is.

[00:49:47] He's not a progressive.

[00:49:48] He's not.

[00:49:49] He doesn't believe any of that.

[00:49:50] I don't think his kids are even vaccinated.

[00:49:54] These people are such liars.

[00:49:57] It is actually shocking.

[00:50:00] It's not just that some of them are incompetent.

[00:50:02] They're not just lying to you about how far to the left they are.

[00:50:05] Some of them are even lying to you that they're on the left at all.

[00:50:10] Here's Joy Reid.

[00:50:12] She's been having a hard time.

[00:50:13] We're going to hear from Joy and then Ban.

[00:50:15] And I think we'll wrap this up because they're really having a hard time and they need to

[00:50:19] get some rest and some water.

[00:50:22] But in the end, you know, if they didn't make their numbers and essentially exceed the numbers

[00:50:27] that Joe Biden had in the suburbs.

[00:50:29] And I think we have to be blunt about why.

[00:50:32] Black voters came through for Kamala Harris.

[00:50:35] White women voters did not.

[00:50:37] That is what it appears happened in that state, is that if you can't slip enough white women,

[00:50:44] and we've talked about this on this set numerous times, but it's a state where women lost their

[00:50:49] reproductive rights, where there was a very heavy push to get women to focus on not putting in place,

[00:50:55] you know, re-electing, putting back into the White House the person who was responsible for taking those

[00:51:00] rights away and restoring them.

[00:51:02] But that message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris,

[00:51:09] a fellow woman.

[00:51:10] This will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have to change the way

[00:51:15] that they interact with the patriarchy.

[00:51:17] It's just, again, such utter condescending.

[00:51:20] Why does Joy think that the way, that the only way for white women to prove their loyalty to Black people

[00:51:28] is to vote Democrat?

[00:51:30] You know, again, just shocking.

[00:51:36] Listen to her.

[00:51:37] This is the second time they've had the opportunity.

[00:51:40] You know, they've had the opportunity to prove to us, to prove it to us.

[00:51:47] They threw away this opportunity.

[00:51:50] You know what?

[00:51:51] Let me play Al Sharpton because I'm going to I want to combine these comments.

[00:51:54] Here's Al Sharpton on the same show.

[00:51:57] Cannot ignore.

[00:51:58] There is still a lot of racism and gender bias in this country.

[00:52:03] And I think for us to ignore that and not try to bring that front and center so we can heal that would mean that we would end up in the same place.

[00:52:14] Kamala Harris is a woman of color in an interracial marriage and running as a woman to be the head of state.

[00:52:23] That is something a lot of Americans are not ready to deal with.

[00:52:27] I'm surprised at the result, but I'm not surprised.

[00:52:31] As a woman of color, I was so hopeful that a mixed race woman married to a Jewish guy could be elected president of this country.

[00:52:40] And I think that it had nothing to do with policy.

[00:52:49] That was Sonny Hostin after Al.

[00:52:51] But yeah, I want to point this out to you.

[00:52:55] I know I don't I couldn't possibly have any liberal listeners left.

[00:52:58] But if I do, I want to point this out to you.

[00:53:01] I want you to listen to what Joy Reid said.

[00:53:03] I want you to listen to what Al Sharpton said.

[00:53:06] A lot of you did go out and pull that lever for Kamala the way you did for Barack.

[00:53:10] You know, you got in line, you did the thing you felt maybe even genuinely felt like you were making that vote for your fellow Americans of color.

[00:53:24] It's never it will never be enough to use like they're still out there today blaming you.

[00:53:30] Right.

[00:53:32] Al Sharpton out there, if you're if you're wondering where the Democrats turn, what when progressives turn on black people,

[00:53:40] because eventually every group gets left behind until there's only the powerful and influential left.

[00:53:46] Eventually, every group will betray the Marxist gods.

[00:53:51] And so.

[00:53:52] So.

[00:53:53] If you're wondering where the line is for progressives and turning their back on people of color, it's here.

[00:54:00] It's here.

[00:54:01] You've never heard Al Sharpton talk so lowly of black men and Latino men as you have here.

[00:54:07] As soon as they stray from the agenda, they no longer count as as black men and Latino men.

[00:54:14] Right now, we no longer count them under this umbrella because they have betrayed us.

[00:54:18] I guess what my point is, particularly to any white liberal women who are still listening, is that your penance will never be enough.

[00:54:25] You're still getting blamed, even though you went into the booth and voted for Kamala.

[00:54:29] Right.

[00:54:29] You're still getting blamed.

[00:54:30] Black men, the majority of them voted for Kamala.

[00:54:33] They're still getting blamed.

[00:54:35] You're you're you're not nothing.

[00:54:38] Nothing you do will matter.

[00:54:39] It's never going to be good enough.

[00:54:40] You will never be able to apologize enough.

[00:54:43] You'll never be able to use enough of the right language.

[00:54:47] You will eventually run afoul of this mindset, the mindset that there is one narrow lockstep path to walk ideologically.

[00:54:59] And you cannot stray even one inch.

[00:55:03] You will eventually be left behind in that type of economy or in that political economy.

[00:55:11] So.

[00:55:12] For all that I know you hate it when people like Elon say more more speech is better speech, the freedom to make more choices is better.

[00:55:19] You don't like that because what if people make bad choices?

[00:55:22] That's that's the risk you have to take in order to make any choice at all.

[00:55:28] Because otherwise you're going to get caught.

[00:55:31] You're going to get joy read it eventually, even when you're still walking in lockstep.

[00:55:40] Just these people are doing it to themselves.

[00:55:42] Oh, so much good stuff.

[00:55:43] And I'm getting tired.

[00:55:44] I just got to I got to close this up.

[00:55:46] I got to close this up.

[00:55:53] Let's close it up with Acosta.

[00:55:55] Jim Acosta from CNN.

[00:55:57] I mean, a lot of folks are wondering why would Latinos vote for Donald Trump if that means he might deport abuela?

[00:56:06] He might deport members of their household.

[00:56:08] As you know, lots of Latino families in this country are of mixed status.

[00:56:12] And, you know, a lot of folks are asking on the Democratic side, why would they do this to themselves?

[00:56:17] Do you want to see mass deportations?

[00:56:19] So the first thing that we need to do is close the border.

[00:56:22] More than 10 million people illegally entered the country.

[00:56:25] They have to be deportation.

[00:56:27] There is no other way around.

[00:56:28] They have to be deportation.

[00:56:30] They have to be deportation camps.

[00:56:32] We have to respect the laws.

[00:56:33] No, no, no.

[00:56:33] I'm not saying deportation camps.

[00:56:35] Do you want to see people in camps rounded up and put in camps?

[00:56:38] Isn't that what you voted for?

[00:56:40] Isn't that what you voted for?

[00:56:42] They are in camps now.

[00:56:43] More than 300,000 children are missing.

[00:56:46] So they're in camps now.

[00:56:49] Lulu, I mean, you know, one of the things that I think we need to talk about is whether or not, you know, folks just had the wool pulled over their eyes.

[00:56:59] And I just want to point this out that that gentleman just said there are 300,000 children missing and Jim Acosta moved on.

[00:57:11] If you ever wonder why they're losing now, you know, that's how, you know, he moved on that.

[00:57:17] That's a reality, right?

[00:57:19] That's a reality, whether you like it or not.

[00:57:23] And to not even have an answer to it, to just sort of fluff over, to sort of like, let me ask my next guest.

[00:57:29] Where are those 300,000 children, Jim?

[00:57:33] And why are they missing?

[00:57:37] That does seem like an important question that somebody who supposedly cares so much should answer.

[00:57:42] He's worried about camps.

[00:57:43] Do you want do you want deportation camps?

[00:57:46] Sure.

[00:57:48] I guess it doesn't seem.

[00:57:50] I mean, where are they now when they come across?

[00:57:53] Where do they go?

[00:57:54] They go to a facility.

[00:57:55] They sleep in a gym and then they get bussed out somewhere.

[00:57:59] Why can't we just do the same in reverse?

[00:58:01] Just send them back to the facilities they're already in, Jim.

[00:58:06] The Democrats make this sound like it is so impossible and so crazy.

[00:58:11] It really is not.

[00:58:12] All you have to do is the same thing in reverse.

[00:58:18] It really is not that.

[00:58:20] Here's Jim.

[00:58:21] Let's let him finish his thought.

[00:58:22] These people are voting against their own best interests and he can't figure it out.

[00:58:27] And maybe they were voting on economic issues, but at the end of the day, maybe voting against

[00:58:31] their own self-interest.

[00:58:35] I didn't even know he was going to say that.

[00:58:37] I didn't hear the end of this clip before I played it.

[00:58:39] Yeah, they're voting and you're voting against your own self-interest and that that no, no,

[00:58:44] this is what we're voting against.

[00:58:46] We're voting against your condescending attitude that you even have one clue in hell.

[00:58:51] What is in our best interest?

[00:58:54] You live in gated communities and buildings with doormen.

[00:58:58] You don't have to budget your grocery money.

[00:59:00] You don't have to figure out how you're going to pay for your child.

[00:59:04] Forget your child's college education, how you're going to pay for their elementary school

[00:59:07] field trip, how you're going to pack their lunch.

[00:59:11] You don't have to figure out how you're going to make the next car payment or how you're

[00:59:15] going to get to the new job that barely pays you enough to cover the rising cost of gas

[00:59:21] and inflation.

[00:59:22] That's what people voted against.

[00:59:24] That is what is in our interest.

[00:59:28] The things we need to live day to day, these are not in your interest.

[00:59:33] So when you say people are voting against their self-interest, what you mean, Jim, is they're

[00:59:38] voting against your self-interest because the people have spoken very clearly and you still

[00:59:44] can't see it.

[00:59:44] That means you live above them.

[00:59:48] Get on their level or shut up.

[00:59:52] It's over.

[00:59:55] You lost, Jim.

[00:59:57] And by the way, a little word to the wise.

[01:00:00] Maybe don't be referring to Hispanic and Latino Americans as your abuela or the people that

[01:00:09] clean your toilets or do your laundry.

[01:00:11] Again, these people are telling on themselves that's how they look at Latino voters.

[01:00:16] Just people who scrub toilets.

[01:00:19] That's all they see.

[01:00:20] That's all they think about when they hear the word Latino.

[01:00:23] They do the things they they accuse Republicans of, right?

[01:00:27] They accuse Donald Trump of wanting to shut down the border because he hates Mexicans.

[01:00:30] Who hates Mexicans more than a guy like Jim Acosta who thinks the only thing they do is

[01:00:35] clean your toilets?

[01:00:37] America's had enough of this.

[01:00:39] They've had enough with these people.

[01:00:41] They've had enough with the elitism and they've had enough with people like Jim Acosta telling

[01:00:48] them what is in their best interest.

[01:00:51] Americans did vote for their best interest.

[01:00:55] You voted against their best interest.

[01:00:59] One of us lost.

[01:01:01] One of us won.

[01:01:02] The people who won are the American people and the people who lost are the legacy media

[01:01:09] who now have to come face to face with the fact that they no longer speak to the average

[01:01:15] American.

[01:01:16] They no longer inform the average American.

[01:01:20] They are the brokers of misinformation and disinformation.

[01:01:24] And it was proven Tuesday night.

[01:01:26] They got everything wrong.

[01:01:27] Every poll was wrong.

[01:01:28] Every projection was wrong.

[01:01:31] Every opinion was wrong.

[01:01:34] They got everything wrong.

[01:01:38] They are the purveyors of misinformation.

[01:01:41] And now they're paying the consequence.

[01:01:45] And I'm just going to laugh about it.

[01:01:47] Guys, let me first of all, let me know what you think or share your favorite media meltdown.

[01:01:52] JLTY at ProtonMail.com.

[01:01:54] I want to encourage everyone to keep praying.

[01:01:58] Okay, so we it's only November.

[01:02:00] We still have to get to inauguration day.

[01:02:02] And then after that, there's a whole host of hearings.

[01:02:05] Trump's cabinet is going to have to get approved.

[01:02:07] It's going to have to get through the Senate.

[01:02:09] There's definitely going to be a lot out there.

[01:02:11] We've seen even some conservative pundits out there being mad and making making a lot of fuss about some of these picks that Trump has made so far.

[01:02:20] I'll talk more about that in later at a later date.

[01:02:24] What I think exactly is going on here.

[01:02:26] But I think it's all good.

[01:02:28] And I think that we are getting ready to get down to some serious business.

[01:02:34] So that's going to require some serious prayer.

[01:02:37] And do you hear me when I say I do believe prayer moved this election?

[01:02:41] I truly, truly do.

[01:02:42] So don't stop.

[01:02:43] Keep praying and pray for our leaders.

[01:02:46] Again, I did a pre-election plea for your prayers just to really be focused on our leaders being surrounded by good and godly wisdom.

[01:02:56] And I think then that's the best thing to pray for because then no matter what, God's will be done.

[01:03:00] All right, everybody.

[01:03:01] Well, it's been a fun week so far.

[01:03:03] It seems like we're shaping up to have at least another couple months of meltdowns as the cabinet picks come through and then we move into inauguration day.

[01:03:12] Lots more fun to be had out there.

[01:03:13] So you're definitely going to want to be subscribed to this podcast.

[01:03:16] JLTY at ProtonMail.com is where you can weigh in.

[01:03:21] And I will try to be working this year on more video and video clips.

[01:03:25] So if you want to follow my other platforms in anticipation of that, go ahead and do that.

[01:03:29] Until we meet again every once in a while, remember to just stop and listen to yourself.

[01:03:35] Do you hear me, Whoopi Goldberg?

[01:03:37] You hear me, Ana Navarro?

[01:03:39] Just listen to yourself for once.

[01:03:43] I pray to Lord my soul today that we won't go spade and we won't go spade.

[01:03:49] All we got is us, no one can take that away.

[01:03:52] So don't go spade, it's going to be okay.

[01:03:55] I pray Lord my soul to take

[01:03:57] That we won't go spade

[01:03:59] Then we won't go spade

[01:04:00] All we got is us

[01:04:01] No one can take that away

[01:04:03] So don't go spade

[01:04:04] It's gonna be okay
