Now this is the FCB podcast Network. This is pillow Talk with Ellie Michelle on the podcast Network. Welcome back to another episode of pillow Talk with Ellie Michelle. I am your host, Ali Michelle. H So, we have a very interesting. Topic to talk about today. Uh so, uh, let's just roll right into it. His name is You may hate him or you may love him. Nick Fuentes m that one. Now, listen. I'm all about strong opinions and free speech, as you all know. But there's a difference between being bold and being belligerent, between waking people up and just yelling into a mic because you just like the sound of your own voice. Yeah, this dude, he's loud, he's obnoxious, and he's out here pushing hate like it's his merch. So today we're diving in who he really is, what he's been saying, and why this kind of energy is not helping the conservative movement. It is hurting. Grab your ice, coffee or whatever keeps you calm, because we are about to unpack this all right, So quick history lesson. Nick Fuentes born in nineteen ninety eight. Internet streamer calls himself quote American first cute slogan until you you dig into that. He runs with what's called the Grouper movement, basically an online pack of far right trolls who thinks they're saving conservatism by turning it into a purity test for who's quote white enough or Christian enough. Yeah, yeah, I know right. He used to do live streams, got banned shocker YouTube on YouTube, then popped up on Rumble, where he brags my show is blowing up more viewers than ever now apparently y'all. His podcast hit number one on Apple Conservative Charts, which is fine. People are curious, but fame does not equal wisdom. Sometimes it just means the Internet rewarded the loudest kid in class for flipping his stinking desks. Yeah, you know. And it's not enough to say someone is extreme, we have to show it with evidence. In his public statements and broadcasts, Nick Fuent has has repeatedly crossed the lines into hateful and dangerous speech. And I collected a few, so he said quote holy war threats and death penalty language. Fluent has has advocated for violence against Jews, including calling for a holy war against them that was combatic anti Semitism movement. In one broadcast, he's his quote death penalty call for Jewish people. I'm sorry. In one broadcast, his quote death penalty called for Jewish people was widely criticized as beyond the pale Apple podcasts. That's what he said, and then he said blaming Jews for the political outcomes. He has said that quote Jews stood in the way of overturning Roe. V wade I was on Wikipedia. He has claimed that Roe was reversed or was. He claimed that when Roe was reversed, that he would re enableing, banning, gay marriage, sodomy, contraceptives, presenting a worldwide our worldview where underdoing undoing Roe is a springboard for sweeping social control tied to his anti semitism, semitism anti anti Semitic framing. Also Wikipedia. He's used demeaning language towards. Women, minorities, the minority group LGBTQ. He said things like women should just shut up, black people belong in prison, and gay marriage should be outlawed. So yeah, he seems like a nice, awesome person to follow in the conservative movement, which I might add that's not conservative, that. Is just hate dressed up in a suit. He even attended a dinner at mar A Lago with Trump and Kanye, and that's when everyone in the room went. Wait a minute, who let this guy in? Who let him in? Here? Out? The Department of Justice has identified him as a white supremacist, PBS and PR, s PLC, ADL, every watchdog has receipts. This man isn't controversial. He is very toxic. He uses religion and patriotism as a shield to spew division. And you know, I call out, I call out both sides. But I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that this talk is just an opinion. It's dangerous. And and you know when when people get called those specific words and names, it's it's it needs to hold ground. We've used it and overly expressed it too many times that it's just not holding water anymore. And that's unfair because people like Nick Buontes needs to be called out. He's a loud mouth. He has the same tactics and the same let's call attitude as the far left Democrat liberal crowd. Heck, even like Antifa when they're screaming in people's faces, that's Nick just hiding behind a camera and a microphone. And it's dangerous. I don't want to claim him as a conservative in the conservative movement because our movement is bigger. Just like Charlie, he had conversations. Nick can't have conversations from watching his clips and his videos and studying and researching him, he just can't have a conversation without the same attacks that far leftists do to fellow conservatives. He just does it loudly and calls himself conservative, which I don't like. I don't agree with him. I think he should actually not even have a platform. But I'm not trying to take away anyone's right to speech, but he needs to be held accountable in some sort of way. When he's calling for like calling for Vine. It's quite dangerous actually for the things that he's saying. And younger people who are angry latch on to someone like Nick Foyentts because he is younger and he has that attitude of an eighteen year old boy at a frat house. Okay, he just he's somebody. I don't want to follow, or somebody I don't want to represent the conservative movement. And for him to be number one for everyone to listen to, I think is utterly dangerous. When there's people out here trying to make a difference. Charlie was trying to make a difference. He did make a difference, and then Nick is quite literally crapping on the conservative movement with what he says in his in his episodes and his streams and his platforms. I mean, you know again, I'm all for freedom of speech, but you need to be responsible. Our rights come with responsibilities, okay. And also why his style fails, Yelling Nick doesn't make you right. It absolutely does not make you right. When someone's entire brand is rage, you have to ask what are they building? Because tearing people down is not leadership. Nick, I'm sorry to tell you. I'm a mom, so I'm gonna talk to you as my child's do an act like one. When you tear people down, that's not leadership. Normal thinking conservatives like myself, people who actually love their country and care about families, safety, and economy. They're not sitting around saying, you know what will fix America more racial slurs, that'll fix it, that'll handle everything. Let's get down to business and just create more more division. Because I'm angry and I can't control my mouth my temper. So uh, the reason so many of us push back on fent test. Is it because we hate free speech, It's because we actually love it. We want our message to land, to reach people who disagree and make them think, and not make them roll their eyes and turn. Out tune out. Nick. That's what you were doing, Nick, is quite literally making people roll their eyes and safety. I told you conservatives are like this, told you nothing. You weren't wrong, after all, we want to be right and we want to make this country better. And honestly, the shouting the hate all caps energy, it's giving uh angry teenager with the Wi Fi pass with the Wi Fi pastors, not leadership or movement. Nick, you need to reevaluate your tactics there. If I was talking to you as a big sister or a mom, you definitely got to fix yourself, wreck your check yourself before you wreck yourself. That's the saying, right. Uh So, so, how do we handle voices like his without becoming just as loud as ugly. I've kind of collected a few things within the last few days. We lead with facts. Let's start with that. We have to lead absolute facts. When someone quotes Frantis, hit him with receipts kind of like actually he called for a holy war against Jews. You really want to defend that, That's like something you can think about. Keep your cool, always, always keep your cool, even if you're upset. As conservatives, we don't scream back, we don't call names, we don't we don't. We handle our our movement. With grace despite all the noise, because right righteousness always wins, you, guys, always always wins. It's hard. It's a hard task not to scream. Trust me, I get it, but we have to. And also don't lump. All conservatives with extremists just because Nick is very extreme and very loud. We can't feed into that narrative. We have to prove the media wrong that Nick doesn't represent us, he represents himself and his own agenda. And lastly, offer a better vision, one where we're one, where we're being American first, means taking care of all Americans, our kids, our families, our faith, and our freedoms without scapegoating anyone. Because strength isn't value. It's conviction with compassion, guys, it is conviction with compassion. So a quick little recap on my take on Nick Fuantez, and I'm not telling you how to think about him, I'm just giving you the facts. But he has crossed the line repeatedly, and he has slipped into hateful and dangerous speech. He's just he. Has to grow up. He has a little bit of growing up to do. And we don't want to amplify and we don't want to feed into the egotistical, uh frat boy energy. We want somebody who handles things with grace. And I know a lot of people didn't always agree with how with what Charlie said a lot, but he did handle his conversations with grace. He didn't scream at you. He he definitely listened. And Nick fuent As is not the one to take the shoes. Nobody could ever replace Charlie Kirk, Nobody could ever fill his shoes. But to glorify and to give somebody a platform as vile as Nick with his his vocabulary and the way he decides to approach other Americans, other our pharaalel Americans are friends, our loved ones, people that we truly care about, is wrong. And and you know, Nick might be topping the charts right now, but loud doesn't mean you're right. If anything, it means he's tapping into frustration that real leaders need to handle better. It looks I'll never knock somebody for speaking their mind, but if their mind is full of hate, expect. People to call you out. Like me, we can be bold without being bullied, we can fight for truth without forgetting grace. And I'm not alrighteous, Holy mighty me, I'm just calling out the bullshit. I'm sick of having to listen to people that are like him, who just who, who are giving our movement a bad name all the while my videos are being sheltered or shadow band and not pushed out, all the while Nick's vile rhetoric is being. Just flaunted to the world. You want to know what I think there's I think there's a method behind that, because I think the media wants to show that actually conservatives are extreme and we're not. There's extreme on both sides, and Nick quite frankly is on the far far far extreme right. He just he can't figure out how to really express his emotions without causing division. And that's just my outlook. Again, I'm not telling you how to think. I'm not telling I'm just giving you my opinion and and and how I would approach him or somebody who who feels the way he you know about like they like him, and then hit you with some things like I just think we need to we need to back up, We need to we need to pump the brakes, we need to reevaluate, we need to scope the scope the area and and see who we actually really want to listen to to represent our movement. And I personally do not think Nick Nick does us justice at all. Uh So, so if you learn something today, share this episode with a friend who might not know who who has really is because education beats echo chambers every time. And remember, if we're gonna talk politics, at least add a little bit of lip loss. So and that's what I have for you today. I'm Alian Michelle. Please don't forget to share this to your lovers, your haters. Yeah, even send it to Nick if you like. And with that, I will see y'all on the next one Populator the Kick timber Ker Kick timber Cler
