Ep. 5 - Guest: Rick Potter, Mighty American Strikeforce

Guest: Rick Potter, Mighty American Strikeforce
The following is a presentation of FCB Faith. This is Keeping America First with Bishop John TA Coats and Reverend Jeff Jemison on FCB Faith. Welcome to Keeping America First, and we're happy to have a great guest here from the great state of Texas, none other than mister Rick Potter. Rick Potter is the president and founder of the Mighty American Stripe Force. Rick, glad to have you here today. How are you, thank Jeff, I'm glad to be with you. Rick. Tell us a little bit about the Mighty American Stripe Force and how it got started and what precipitated the need for it. The way this got started is twenty over twenty years ago in two thousand and four, George W. Bush was running for re election and there were some people in Texas that wanted to help him, and they didn't know what they could do. And someone said, well, why don't we all buy a plane ticket and let's fly to a battleground state and walk door to door for him, see if we can help him win this election. And that was the beginning, and we've grown over the years. Started out just in Texas, we've been involved in every presidential campaign Since that time, and now we've expanded nationwide. We're in about thirty five states, and we've deployed to a number of special elections. We deployed to the Virginia races that are held in off years and campaigned for Glen Yawkin for governor and the other Republicans that were running on the Republican ticket. Earlier this year, we were involved in Louisiana helping elect their governor and their Secretary of State, a lot of their state officials. So it just depends on what's going on at the time. But right now, we just have returned from the group that I was leading. Were in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and we had one hundred and fifty volunteers that deployed to Bucks County north of Philadelphia, and then in Pittsburgh we had in western Pennsylvania, we had another seventy five volunteers that were working there and we trained these people and then we sent them out knocking on doors to try to help us win the election. We actually won the Senate race. Dave McCormick was elected US Senator from Pennsylvania, and we were heavily involved in his race. In addition to campaigning for President Trump. So we couldn't be happier with the results. Yeah, I know that you've been very active for years, and I applaud you for great work that you're doing. Rick, what type of effort does it take? I mean, is this something that are you active year round or do you just gear up for elections during the November elections? And tell us a little bit about that. It's gotten to the point where we're active almost year round. I started working gosh six or eight months ago. We set up a booth at the Texas Republican State Convention, and as people came by our booth, we were recruited them and signed them up to volunteer with us. We haven't. We started out having zoom calls about initially about once a month, and then that sped up to about two per month, and then when we get in the last two weeks before the election, we have a national zoom call every other day, including while we're deployed to these battlegrounds. We deployed to about ten different battleground areas for this last election. We were besides Pennsylvania, we were in Wisconsin, Michigan, Reno, Nevada, we were in Arizona, South Texas. We had over three hundred people deployed to Georgia, we were in North Carolina, and I'm probably missing one, but those are some of the main areas that we were focused on this year. We also had some people that were making phone calls into congressional races in California. That's awesome, I think, Rick, a lot of people are listening, and I'm sure there are a lot of people that would like to get involved and they're wondering how can they make a difference in some of these upcoming elections. Can you tell us, Rick, can you speak to that a little bit? How would people get involved with us? We've tried to make it as easy as we can. If they would go to our website, which is m A s F stands for Mighty American Strike Force m A s F DOT Online O N l I n E. If you'll go to m A s F dot Online on the front page of our website, they can donate or they can click to sign up to volunteer, and as soon as we get them in the system, we start communicating with them in mass emails that we send out, and we usually have some volunteer to be team captains to try to recruit a team of ten or more people to deploy to a battleground. For example, we had a group that was headed by someone from Tennessee and they took ten people to Bucks County, Pennsylvania to campaign for a full week in Bucks County. And we do that wherever we go. We've been involved in two different on off elections in Georgia. We had a team that deployed to Augusta, Georgia, and then there was another runoff for the Senate about a year later, and we were involved in that one as well. That's awesome, Rick. Do you find that there are other groups that would like to work with you? For instance, do you collaborate with the r NC Do you coordinate your efforts with other groups? We have at least six members of the r n C that are honorary steering committee or they're in leadership roles with our group. And in addition to those people, we also in this last election, we after Robert F. Kennedy Junior endorse Trump and withdrew from the race and endorse Trump. We were approached by the MAHA group to they wanted to get involved with what we were doing. So we trained them and integrated them into our teams that were traveling to all these different battlegrounds, and in particular, they were active in Pennsylvania. Rick, this is great information, and I think it just kind of enlightens it kind of sheds a light on what you're doing in the inner workings of these campaigns. And I've watched you through the years and and how you've just coordinated with such accuracy and led volunteers to these areas that were just critical in elections national elections. One of the things that one of the things that share with you is many of our volunteers pay their own way. We're not like these door knockers for hire that are going out there that are being funded by some political action committee or some private individual are Many of our volunteers pay their own air flight or travel expenses to get to the battleground area. And then if we have funds available, we can offer scholarship assistance to those that are in need. But there's no guarantee until we know how much funds we've been able to raise. But I think that's important because over the years I've noticed we have a different mindset for the people that are involved with the Mighty American Strike Force. They're very committed to the cause. They're not doing it just for the buck, and I think that makes a huge difference when they're out talking to voters around the stakes as that go into and convince them that they need to be sure and get out, and we encourage them to vote for the candidates that were supporting. I would say to our audience, kind of keep your eyes open and follow the Mighty American Strike Force. And oftentimes when they're going into areas there you may know someone that could open up their doors and kind of help them navigate that area that they've been deployed into. We going got through when we were in Pittsburgh. We moved the base of our operations from Austin, Texas to Pittsburgh. And before we left and went to Pittsburgh, we were having national zoom calls not from Austin for like ten days before that. But when we got to Pittsburgh, we just set up our operation right there in our hotel that was our base of operation, and we did several We asked if anyone had any reports of ballot fraud or voter fraud that we needed to notify the campaigns of so we could get involved in the middle of it. We also would get reports from the battlegrounds so that it was a national effort. It wasn't just some people in Pittsburgh. We were talking to volunteers in Reno, Nevada, or in Florida, or in Georgia, and they were all updating us and reports from the battlegrounds where they were based. And then the last thing we do is we asked some VIPs to come on our call and just thank our volunteers for their hard work and encourage them to go out and knock on twice as many doors the next day. We had some incredible support this year. We had Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana called in and spoke with our volunteers. We had Congressman John Molinard from Michigan and Congressman Ship Roy from Texas called in. We also had Senator Tommy Tubberville from Alabama called in. Very inspiring for the volunteers to have these national leaders called in like that. And I know how it is having volunteered on campaigns since the age of twelve. I mean, it's good to have that encouragement out there. Well. Rick, just keep doing what you're doing, and I'll tell you this is just a great time in the country to put America first and keep America first. And I certainly appreciate your coming on our show keeping America First. And Rick final closing words your audience, Well. Thank you first of all for invite me to join you this morning on this call. I would say, if people we're just beginning the fight. I've had a number of people approach me in the and they're not concerned about what's going to happen between now and inauguration David. They think we need to get on the ground immediately start preparing for the election two years from now because we, uh, we need to continue to control the majority in the House and the Senate if we're gonna be able to continue to turn the country around, because it's gonna be a very short time frame before there's gonna be more elections coming up.
